This b+b is not as bad as the reviews make out.we were a bit worried at first but when we arrived we soon realised they were wrong. the hotel is very clean, hot running water,clean towels and bed linen,iron kettle and hair dryer in room along with tea+coffee supplies and tv,phone and wireless internet. the only bad thing i have... more

This was not that bad. For the price and location I would say it more than meet my expectations. We thought we were going to have a great time at this b&b. Greeted my a nice man who was helpful about the town. Then from there it went DOWN HILL!!! Bedroom that I stayed in room 36. No room key; heat, reading lights & TV remote didn't work. Night mgr didn't know how to dial the office & said they didn't do wake-up calls; shower didn't drain and toilet seat had broken hinges. Room was somewhat dreary but adequate; food was barely adequate. Most serious problem was locked emergency exits, which I've reported. Everywhere else we stayed... more

This posting must be a mistake and refer to another St Judes in Galway (there are more than one). We are located at 110 Lower Salthill. We are a totally family run business and therefore no night manager exists, our reading lights, heat and TV remotes all work, each room has individual rado/alarm clock and we are more than happy...
