What a wonderful stay in Galway! Mike and Marie were so welcoming and made us feel at home in their beautiful B&B. The breakfast was wonderful and relaxing. If you are in this area, you will love the Abbey Lee!

Had the honor and privilege of staying here again this year. Mike and Marie are the very best. They are the host and hostess from heaven. This B and B is cozy, in a great location (walking distance to the Promanade). The food is excellent. The accommodations (not fancy)..but warm and inviting. Mike and Marie are new friends that made... More

The Abbeylee was our first B&B in Ireland and it was a great experience! Comfortable room and yummy breakfast. Very clean too which was great. I do recommend that the B&B might invest in a heater that could be installed in each bathroom as the shower we had was the coldest ever! The next B&B we stayed at had a... More

We arrived around 3:30 pm after a very exciting day, tired and hungry. Mike was headed out for his walk and greeted us warmly directing us to the front door where Mary was smiling and sad Welcome to our home. She gave us a very beautiful room that was very comfortable and then gave us some information on the various... More

The Abbeylee was our first B&B that we stayed in on a 10 day self drive tour of Ireland and Mike & Mary made it a nice one . The house was very nice , clean and breakfast was delicious . We had a problem with our car from Hertz which was less then reliable and Mike helped us out... More

This was our first B&B on our trip, so it was very nice to walk into a welcoming home with nice clean rooms. Mike and Sheila are the perfect hosts, serving up a great breakfast every morning. The abbeylee is a little out of the way from the town of galway, but it is within walking distance of salthill which... More

Marie and Michael are great hosts, as all the reviewers point out here. Their breakfast is breath-taking. Their suggestions for one-day trips are fundamental. While reserving the room, just notice that the one with two single bed is rather small.

What a great B&B in Galway. Michael and Marie are wonderful hosts, very accomodating, knowledgable, and welcoming. Michael helped us find food the first night we arrived, tired after a long day of driving and a visit to the Cliffs of Moher. The ensuite rooms were the perfect size for 2 friends traveling together. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay... More

My family and I just returned from our first trip to Ireland and chose to stay at the Abby Lee B&B. Before arriving, we had spent the day at the Cliffs of Moher and arrived tired and hungry. Michael told us a great location for dinner and we then enjoyed an after dinner drink in one of the local pubs.... More

We had a wonderful stay at Abbey Lee. Michael & Marie were gracious hosts and offered great advice on local restaurants and the Cliffs of Moher. Our rooms were warm, cozy and clean. Breakfast was delicious and Marie's brown bread was great! We highly recommend this B&B.
