Nice B&B near city of Galway. Owner Louise was lovely and accommodating. The room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was just O.K but service a little slow. More

We really enjoyed our stay at Abacus House. Lovely large rooms, big bathrooms, and a shower with great water pressure, which is a real rarity in Ireland. The host was very thoughtful, leaving wine glasses and plates in our room after we had requested them on the previous evening. It was a nice and thoughtful touch. An excellent breakfast, with... We had a fantastic stay in this guesthouse and would highly recommend it. Having stayed in many B&Bs across Ireland, it is a luxury to stay in a place with a good shower! So many of the other places seem to lack that. Also, the room we stayed in was huge, far bigger than we expected, and the bathroom was... More

Louise and her family were such a pleasure to speak with and could always be reached to ask advice. In the morning, you could choose a cold breakfast like I did of cereal, yogurt and fruit or a hot breakfast of eggs and bacon like my friends-as well choose from many other favorites!. I love the "NOM" ?? yogurt and... More

Thank you! I really enjoyed my stay in this fabulous B&B. Friendly people, good flexible service and of course very clean rooms. The family always gave a good recomandation for several things, like trips on the weekend, pubs and more. They even managed to make me feel homely during my 2 weeks stay without disturbing my privacy. They were there... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Abacus Guesthouse. We stayed in a big dubble room with bathroom. It was cosey and clean and had all the facilities we needed and more! The B&B was located a few minutes drive from the town centre in a nice and quiet area with a bus stop close-by which took us to the centre... More

I arrived very late in the evening and very jet lagged and tired, so I was thrilled to find parking in the driveway and the warm welcome. The bathroom is very compact, but served me just fine; cotton swabs and kleenex were helpful amenities. I slept great. Breakfast was good with a nice array of both menu choices and other... More

This B&B is a fairly large B&B, so I felt it had the best of both worlds; some personal family feel with privacy as well. The hosts Louise and Breege were excellent hosts, including giving a reduced taxi coupon for the return trip from Galway (5-10 minutes), although I believe it was at most 10-15 bucks for all three of... Family of 4 from the states stayed early August of 2011. Louise welcomed us upon a very late arrival (almost 11) with a smile and we accepted her offer to make available the breakfast room to have some food we brought with us. Family room that slept four was clean, quiet and even had a small refrigerator. The breakfast each... More
