We stayed at the Seashore Lodge at the time of the Volvo cup yacht race. The boats happened to be in Galway at this time. Things were very busy in the town for a Monday night. Noreen filled us in on all the happenings. The Lodge was convenient for all the happenings. Would definately stay here again. more

Noreen Costello is the proprietor of a brilliantly run B&B in Galway overlooking Galway Bay. Minutes from Galway city and Barna. She is ably assisted by Kitty and Angela. They say 'people buy people' - This is true in my case. I return here every year for the Galway races and every time I'm visiting Galway- breakfast, accomodation, location and... more

This was our first Christmas away from our family and Galway was lively with a fantastic atmosphere in the pubs. The host told us where to go and was extremely helpful and kind, with people like this we did not get a chance to miss our families. She really got into the Christmas spirit and we really enjoyed first class... more

My husband and I stayed at the Seashore lodge for 3 nights and I can honestly say that we were treated with warm Irish hospitality. The rooms were very clean and the Irish breakfast was delicious. The location of the B&B was perfect as it was within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants in downtown Galway. Mary from... more

August 2006 my friends and I had the pleasure of staying at the Seashore Lodge Salthill for three nights while visiting Galway for the races. For our stay we paid €60 per person per night, which was reasonable compared to other B&B and hotels in the area for race week. We found the Seashore lodge was in a beautifully location... more

We flew on an overnight flight from Boston arriving at Shannon Airport early in the morning. We used public transportation during our whole vacation. Upon arrival at Shannon we had to wait for the buses to start their morning schedule - we took the first bus into Galway. From there we took a taxi to Costello's Seashore Lodge in Salthill.... more
