This was a lifelong trip for our family in visiting Ireland. We had just flown into Shannon on an overnight flight and (with trusty TomTom GPS) we made our way to Seashore Lodge. We were warmly greeted by Noreen Costello, Owner/Mgr (who kept in touch with us via email prior to our trip). The rooms were efficient, comfortable and clean.... More

Mrs. Costello was kind and the place was clean. A little out of the way and tiny --but clean-- rooms. The breakfast was overdone and coffee weeak More

Our hostess was so accomodating and the location, view and room was wonderful. We would recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a quite getaway with a beautiful view of Galway Bay. Close to downtown but out just far enough to enjoy. We left very early in the mornig to catch our plane and the hostess still got up to... More

Noreen was a wonderful host. We were greeted with tea and biscuits. Our room was clean, inviting and spacious. The location was great. We had a car so we were able to access Galway City Centre and Salthill. Noreen provided us with maps, information and advice for touring near and around Galway. She had tickets for our boat trip to... More

I booked a three night stay with friends at the Seashore Lodge after reading the rave reviews on TripAdvisor. I have to say, I was quite disappointed and this is probably the worst bed and breakfast that I have ever stayed in. First, this bed and breakfast is NOT located within walking distance of downtown Galway, unless you want to... More

We stayed at the Seashore Lodge at the time of the Volvo cup yacht race. The boats happened to be in Galway at this time. Things were very busy in the town for a Monday night. Noreen filled us in on all the happenings. The Lodge was convenient for all the happenings. Would definately stay here again. More

Noreen Costello is the proprietor of a brilliantly run B&B in Galway overlooking Galway Bay. Minutes from Galway city and Barna. She is ably assisted by Kitty and Angela. They say 'people buy people' - This is true in my case. I return here every year for the Galway races and every time I'm visiting Galway- breakfast, accomodation, location and... More
