I recently stayed in this B&B for two nights during race week and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The owners Padraic and Christina were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and spotless and my boyfriend and I agreed that the breakfast was one of the best we've ever had.

After being convinced by my partner to opt for a B&B in Salthill rather than a hotel in Galway all I can say I was sorely disappointed I did. Cashelmara Lodge is a spotless B&B, the breakfasts we had were delicious and Christina was nice. However our room was tiny! A double bed squashed into a boxroom. There was only... More

We had family and friends trip around Ireland and stayed at Cashelmara Lodge. We needed 5 rooms so we took almost the whole B&B while we were there. The B&B is very clean and comfortable. They serve a delicious hot and cold breakfast with everything you need. The owner (Christina) and her husband were so friendly and helpful to us.... More

My family and I spent a few days at Cashelmara Lodge and it was a truly pleasant experience! Christina greeted us with such warmth and showed to an impeccably beautiful and clean room with comfortable beds. Each morning we had a fantastic breakfast with great selection of coffee, tea and juice. She gave us great information on things to do... More

My wife and I arrived in Salthill for a long weekend. We were greeted warmly by the owner of the lodge - Christina. She was incredibly helpful. Advising us on places to visit in Galway and the best ways to get there. The room was very clean and the beds surprisingly comfortable. We woke each morning to a great breakfast... More

As the title says staying here was an absolutely wonderful experience. This is a family run bed and breakfast and I must say the family really made our stay enjoyable. They even drove into town when we were going for dinner on our second night! Our room was a large double room overlooking the bay and it was absolutely spotless.... More

We had an enjoyable stay at Cashelmara Lodge and Christina, Husband Patrick (Padraig?) and family we encountered were most engaging and attentive. The location in Salthill was ideal being close to the promenade but far away from traffic and our room was prepared and cleaned to a very high standard. Internet access was fast and easy to access but for... More

When we arrived the owner didn't think anyone had booked as she was cleaning up the house as she had been busy on the previous days with the local elections. We we eventually shown to our room and told to go to the golf club if we wanted dinner. We then asked about wifi and she tried to help but... More

Christina provided the best breakfast we had on our trip to Ireland, with a beautifully cooked Irish breakfast on cracking hot plates. The perc coffee was great as well. But there were disappointments. When we arrived, I had to knock on the locked door until Christina arrived. When I said we had a booking she replied, "no you haven't". On... More

Hostess Christina was a delight. We were there during a slow period, so she spent a lot of time chatting with us about her life, making suggestions on things to do, and seeing to it that we enjoyed our time in the Galway area. Internet service was a bit iffy (not good in the room, but fine in the parlor),... More
