Mary made our stay here absolutely wonderful! She provided us with maps and ideas of places to eat, drink and just visit in town. It was just a short stroll to downtown Galway which made it VERY convenient. The breakfast room is great. It is a sunroom that looks out on a very well manicured lawn/garden. Breakfast was large and... More

We had a fabulous stay at the Asgard Guesthouse. Mary met us at the door and made us feel like family. The location was perfect, the room and beds comfortable and the breakfast delicious. Ron gave us some great suggestions for locations to visit. I wish we could have stayed longer. We would highly recommend this to everyone.

We stayed here for 2 nights and loved the fact that we could walk in to town. Mary and Ron were superb hosts, very friendly and accommodating. My husband has trouble with stairs, so Mary allowed us to have a room at the back of the house. It was smaller than the other rooms but we were happy to be... More

The owners, Mary and her husband were so very friendly and very helpful. We stayed here on Easter weekend in March. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. After driving for 2 hrs from Dublin airport early that morning we arrived 3.5 hrs early. They were very nice and let us eat breakfast as we were tired from traveling. They were... More

I've stayed for 3 nights on February'13. Great location, in walking distance to the city's main attractions and to the coach stations. The price and the room were great! Good bed, good bathroom, good shower, very clean. Mary and Ron were so nice and friendly! They gave me good tips of restaurants and pubs. Mary's Irish breakfast was delicious and... More

We were in Ireland for two weeks and Asgard Guesthouse for 2 nights. Marie and Ron gave Asgard a unique and personal flavor that we thoroughly enjoyed. First, Asgard is certainly a great value stay. And second, Marie and Ron give great personal opinions about the local establishments and what there is to do in the area. While the rooms... More

My sister, aunt, mother and I stayed here for just one night while we did a weekend trip to Galway from Dublin. Mary was so wonderful! We had a wonderful "family room" that had two twin beds and one double. It was just perfect for the four of us since we only packed an overnight bag, although we could have... More

We spent an entire week in Ireland, staying at 5 B&B's in various cities. The Asgard and Mary were our best experience by far, both in value for money, coziness, and friendliness. The room, although small, was very comfortable and the shower was great. Lots of pillows on a comfortable mattress made us want to stay in and watch a... More
