My husband arrived in Galway late one Saturday night and stopped in at this lovely looking B&B to see if they had anything available (although we were sure it would be the more expensive than what we were used to from the outside and inside). However, the charming proprietess, Maura Hardiman, gave us the only room she had left (a family room with a queen bed and attached bath and a separate room with 3 twin beds attached) for only 56 euros (including full breakfast). And although we had to leave very early, before breakfast could be served, she left us out some juice, fresh fruit, and yogurt to get us going. So thoughtful and kind! There were also complete tea making facilities in our room so we were able to do that too! She even offered us the use of her computer if we needed! We will DEFINITELY be back our next time in Galway!
The location is very central, next to ample free parking (although she has a large gated driveway for you to park in) and right downtown...
