This was easliy the most dissapointing B&B we stayed in over 2 weeks touring Ireland. The room was small, the bathroom tiny, and sadly the shower unit was not cleaned until I rinsed away the previous occupants stray pubes myself. The Water Bolier was in our room, so susbequently the room was too hot. Though I was asked exactly what... more

We just want to reply to this review to say that we felt terrible when we read this. Rus and I feel passionately about running a great Bed and Breakfast and our aim has always been to provide modern, friendly, clean, comfortable and affordable accommodation. So we take this review about a lack of cleanliness very seriously and are doing...

We stayed here for one night and paid 80 euros which was a rip-off. The best thing about this place is its location - less than 5 mins walk from Galway city. But the room was very basic and the bed was dreadful - the most uncomfortable bed I ever slept in...I had to put a pillow under me to... more

I drove from Dublin and stayed at this great B&B for a short stay in Galway and cannot fault this place. It is only a 5 min walk from the heart of Galway city and the rooms are spotlessly clean. Great to get safe parking so close to the city too. This B&B has a lovely arty feel to it,... more

It's just unforgivable. I had booked a room at the B&B over e-mail nearly six weeks in advance and confirmed it a few days before we arrived. I also notified the owner that we'd need late check-in (around 8pm) and was assured that it'd be no problem. So, at the end of the long day traveling, you can imagine our... more

Yes this reviewer is absolutely right and through a genuine mistake by us we gave their room to another couple. Luckily we spotted our mistake before the guests arrived and were able to arrange, in advance, accommodation in another B and B close by. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and would like to point out that a mistake...

I stayed in Kilcullen House for 3 nights in July 2009 and was very impressed! The location is brilliant and is actually just a 5 - 10 minute walk to the town centre. This was great as other accomodation where we stayed on our way promised proximity but was actually much further away than promised. The room was comfortable (if... more

My wife and I stayed at Kilcullen House three nights while in Ireland for our son's wedding. We arrived late after 30 hours on planes, busses, and trains. Our host, Russ, was waiting with hot tea and advice on where to get a hot meal. The room was very clean, and the bed comfortible. The shower controls took a bit... more

My wife, 2 small children and I stayed at the Kilcullen House for 2 nights and had a great stay. As we were pushing a pram, the location was ideal. The hotel was a large family room on the top floor that provided us with plenty of space. Breakfast was delicious and served fresh and hot each morning. Russell's local... more
