The room was small and the bathroom very small; perhaps typical for B & Bs. Everything was very clean. It is in a good location right across the street from the bus stop. The bus is the way to go into Galway. We did take our car to go down the hill and into Salthill village for dinner. But the... More

We found the room very nice and clean; loved the decor. The bus stop was right across the street so we left our car there and took the bus into the city center, which was convenient. Breakfast was very nice. Christina was helpful too.

It had very good sound proofing and was in a great location. The breakfasts were okay, but not great. The rooms were comfortable, the showers were a bit small, and the toilets were odd. The owners were helpful with exploring the area around Galway. It was also a nice bonus that they had wifi available!

We found Clare Villa from Rick Steve's book on Ireland. We enjoyed being just outside of Galway. We had our own car, but we used the local bus service to go to and from Galway. For less than 2 Euros each, the short bus ride to Galway was convenient with no parking hassles. Our rooms were very comfortable, clean and... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Clare Villa in late July 2012. The owners, Christina and her husband, were both very pleasant and as I was the early riser, brought me coffee into the living room each morning prior to breakfast. Parking was a bit tight. Easy drive into Salthill. Enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful place to stay. My 17 yr old daughter and I recently stayed here while on Vacation in Ireland. The room was meticulously kept and Christina went above and beyond in helping us with directions and anything else that we required. I highly recommend the Clare Villa.

Lovely place to stay: friendly and helpful owners, clean and bright room, and made-to-order breakfast. It's only a few steps from the beach and a bus stop.

Christina was a great hostess and we had a great stay. This place is convenient and clean and the food was really good too. Easy to find and right next door to the tennis and squash club. Nice walking distance to downtown Salthill, cool little town.

My husband, myself and 2 friends stayed with Christina and her husband Stephen for 2 nights. We loved their B &B. It was very clean and one of the few places in Ireland we found washclothes provided. Our breakfasts were wonderful. Christina was always helpful with info on tours and directions. The bus stop into Galway is right across the... More

My husband and I stayed here on our 2nd night of our honeymoon. The house was nice enough, the room was clean and although somewhat small, it was comfortable, but from the moment I arrived I noticed the host (Christina) seemed to be kind of cold and kurt towards us. She quickly showed us to our rooms with her arms... More
