Of the hotels that we stayed at while in Ireland, this one was our least favorite. Upon entering our room, we noticed that it was warm and humid. No air conditioning! We reported this to the front desk who informed us that we must not be using the AC controls correctly. After about an hour (with no relief - and... more

Stayed here for a night during the Galway races, expecting the hotel to be mad. It was. But everything seemed to be under control. The rooms were spacious, and there was a turndown service- a nice touch. We didnt dine at the hotel, we ventured into Galway City Centre ~ 10/15 mins walk. If you fancy the walk, there are... more

First impressions are crucial and so it was with our request for directions to the Courtyard. We were 200 mtrs from the hotel and rang for directions. Five calls, 1hr 8mins and numerous Kilometres later, we found our destination. The moral is if you ring a reception, it is essential that you intreface with a courteous member of staff who... more

I have stayed a few times in this hotel and used their spa. The rooms are not really big but are comfortable, rates have always been good value. On one occassion we got a great deal on accommodation, dinner and spa treats. Spa is fabulous ideal for relaxing. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Hotel has a really nice atmosphere. The... more

Overall was not impressed with this hotel. 15+ min walk from the city center. Frech manager named Marquis very rude. The bar area is nice. Rooms are normal. Overall I would say to stay in the city center at the Jurys. more

My wife and I stayed for a two night break in April 2009. The hotel is easy to get to and within walking distance of the city centre. The rooms are very comfortable and have everything you would expect. The bar and restaurant were very good and the food was excellent. The buffet breakfast in the morning gives a huge... more

This was one of the best Marriott hotels that I have stayed in. It is definitely the best courtyard that I have stayed in. Very modern hotel with very efficient staff. The food was excellent; Club Sandwich was just like it should be! Rooms are very spacious and the beds were very comfortable the only bad thing is the rush... more

We spent two nights here in mid March. We checked into our room early at 11 am. That was wonderful because we were exhausted from jet lag. Very nice, clean room with a beautiful bathroom. There was a carnival in town so we asked to have our room moved and they were able to do that. The breakfast buffet was... more
