Good position overlooking the bay. Booking in was efficient and quick. There was a very large wedding in progress when we arrived and even though parking was difficult we found a space. I felt a bit odd though, in the reception area, mixed in with the wedding guests in their wedding finery and drinking champagne while we were in holiday... More

We stayed for four nights and had a fantastic room - any with a sea view is to be recommended. The room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and very welcoming. The staff were great and couldn't do enough for us - arranging day trips, sorting out taxis, advising about the best places to see. The only reason I won't give... More

We stayed at the Salthill Hotel for two nights. We enjoyed our stay. Our room was nice and clean with comfortable beds. We didn't have a view. The breakfast was a buffet type and it was good. The service for tea and toast, etc. was slow and the server was just a little surly. There were a lot of tour... More

We had the pleasure of staying in this hotel last week. The hotel is very well maintained. The hotel was spotless! On check in the girl at reception was simply wonderful. The bar staff, and bar food were also very good. Breakfast on both mornings was good also. The hotels location to the promenade was ideal for a romantic walk!... More

I stayed in this hotel Last weekend. From start to finish it was a great place to stay. Rooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable. I didn't have breakfast but I did have the pleasure of eating in the bar. Food and service was excellent. I must give special recognition to Iwona who attended to us that night... More

This is the second time we have stayed here when visiting the Galway and Connemara area. It is,a good solid 3/4 star hotel, just outside the city of Galway. The city is a twenty minutes walk away, or €1.80 on a bus, or around €8 by taxi. The nearest bust stop is a two minute walk from the hotel. Staff... More

The rooms were clean with necessary amenities, such as hair dryers and wifi. Don't forget your adapter to charge your cell or lap top. The food was wonderful, and the pub activity was a nice way to cap off the evening. The hotel is about a 40 minute walk to the shopping areas, most of the walk can be done... More

Stayed for a night on a west coast stop over with the family. We had a family room which had two double beds. The room was lovely, but no sea view available for a family room which was a little disappointing. Kids loved the pool area - all we could do to get them out and enjoy the promenade in... More
