I found this B&B for my two guests over the weekend in October in Galway and both of them enjoyed the stay there very much. The atmosphere was very nice and cozy and the service very very good and friendly. I can just recommend this B&B Griffin Lodge for a nice time in the West of Ireland!!! more

We stayed at Griffin Lodge for a couple of days and had a wonderful time. I agree the rooms are a bit small but Ann makes up for that with a big smile right from the heart. The location is outside of the centre of town but close to pubs and restaurants. Food was great and despite the small size... more

A good B&B with excellent Irish hospitality. Free parking is a plus in such a central location. The rooms were a little small and could use modernizing when compared to other B&Bs that we have stayed in, but it was comfortable and clean. more

We enjoyed our 2 nights in Galway staying at Griffin Lodge. Ann was a friendly hostess. Our room on the ground floor was small but it was clean and tastefully decorated. There is a small siiting room available for guests but it seemed to double as Ann's private TV room so access was limited. Parking was very tight. The location... more

My husband and I stayed at the Griffin Lodge for 4 nights. We had a wonderful time. Ann was a great hostess and the B&B was a five minute walk to Quay Street, where the pubs and shops are. The breakfast in the morning was from 8-9:30 and was enough to fill us up until the afternoon. We had a... more

This B&B was perfect for our stay in Galway. It was very close to everything we wanted to see, probably only a 5 minute walk to Quay St. It was on a quiet street, where there was parking available. Ann is so wonderful! She's hysterical and so friendly. We totally felt at home there. I wish we could have extended... more

After much research, I decided to book the Griffin Lodge for our stay in Galway because it had great reviews and because it was approximately 10 euro more affordable than other B&B's in Galway. We had a wonderful, comfortable stay. The rooms are impeccably clean and well appointed. Our hostess, Ann, has a a vivacious personality and treated us like... more

The Griffin Lodge is an excellent choice for a stay in Galway. It’s on the west side of the river but still less than 10 minutes walk to Quay Street. The Crane Bar and Monroe’s are closer still. Our group of nine took four of the twelve rooms, all ensuite, except one which had a private bath across the hall.... more

Booked the Griffin Lodge for 2 nights - very easy to do via e-mail with the owners. A little pricy but a good deal for Galway over Easter weekend (and Ireland in general, it has gotten expensive!!!). Great location, only a 5 minute walk from the western end of Quay Street, Small but clean and comfortable rooms, quiet location just... more

We stayed for two night in Griffin Lodge, and we were overall very satisfied with our stay. Ann was a lovely host, she prepared hearty Irish breakfasts for us and even gave us directions on how best to get to Co. Kerry from Galway. The only problem for us was the size of the room we stayed in (Room 3)... more
