We spent three nights at Bayberry House, and it was a perfect way to be introduced to Galway and Ireland. Marie, the proprietor, went out of her way to make us feel at home. When we arrived after more than 12 hours of travel by plane and bus, she offered us a cup of tea and came back with a... more

Bayberry House was a lovely home with two of the best owners we met in Ireland! We greatly enjoyed Tom and Mary and their hospitality, advice, cooking tips and so much more. Mary even gave us a ride into town one night so we didn't have to pay for a cab! The house is lovely and our room was huge.... more

Where to start? Tom and Marie were the perfect hosts. Above and beyond hosts actually. Always making sure we had directions and giving us rides into town. And the B&B itself was just wonderful. Large sitting room always available so you never felt confined to your room, which actually would have been just fine since ours was HUGE and beautiful.... more

Marie and Tom were so nice to us, made us feel very welcome. Great breakfast in gorgeous sitting room. Bedrooms were lovely, plenty of parking. It is a short drive into Galway (10 minutes) which was fine for us because it was quiet and peaceful here. Would definately stay here again. Traveling with a young child and plenty of green... more

We loved this place. Marie and Tom are amazing. They went above and beyond as if you were staying with old friends rather than at a B&B. They drove us into town a couple of times, let us use their cell phone while we were out on a tour one day, helped wake us up on our first day there... more

A very hospitable host, willing to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. Cozy and quiet. Excellent breakfast. A bit of a walk from downtown, but a great value. Will happily stay on our next visit to Galway. more

We stayed here for two nights last week and we loved it! Marie and Tom have a beautiful home, the rooms are very comfortable, the shower is AMAZING and if you stay for the breakfast, be prepared for a feast! I like to eat and I didn't have lunch until 2:00! Marie really outdoes herself and keep an eye out... more

We spent 3 nights in a double room, with ensuite, at Bayberry House in Galway. The accommodation is comfortable and welcoming. The house is tastefully decorated, and just lovely. It really felt like home away from home. Marie is a wonderful hostess. Breakfasts were a great to start to the day, and Marie's generosity ensured we did not need to... more

My seven night stay at the Bayberry House was everything I expected and more. The house is beautiful and Marie and Tom go beyond their duties as hosts to make you feel like a special guest in their home. As a solo traveler, first time in Ireland, I especially appreciated their advise, insights, and occasional rides into the city, and... more
