Our stay at Bayberry was one of the highlights of our trip! We stayed for 2 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The rooms are very clean and the beds comfortable. Tom and Marie really make you feel at home. This was the best B&B that we stayed in during our whole trip (we stayed in 9 different... More

The owners Tom and Mary are delightful hosts, Mary cooks a delicious breakfast and you can order pretty much what you like. Tom gladly drives you into 'town' in the evenings, a busy eight minute drive into Galway City, which is busy and probably difficult and expensive to park. We accepted Tom's offer of a lift. The B and B... More

Bayberry house b&b in Galway is just what one imagines a b&b should be... It stands out from the rest( & there is an abundance to choose from) because of the kindness and hospitality of the hosts Tom and Marie. The hot tea &cake on arrival, the lift into town for dinner, the advice on what to see in Galway... More

The B&B is clean and the rooms are spacious. Breakfast is excellent. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. They gave us a ride to Galway city to show where to go and to eat the first day we came in. It's a place we'll return if we come again.

Had a wonderful three nights at this B and B. Would stay again if we ever get back to Galway. Not enough can be said about Tom and Marie and how they attend to the needs of their guest. Tom and Marie both gave my wife and I rides into town because I was too nervous to drive in Galway... More

Marie and Tom Cotter were wonderful hosts - Marie went out of her way to help Emily and myself who were on holiday in Ireland with 2 nights in Galway. she made us tea on arrival, gave us good direcitons to get there and took us into town in the evening. She was open and helpful, booking a tour for... More

Thanks to Marie for arranging a very pleasant stay. She offered us a ride into town to avoid tricky parking in Galway on a holiday weekend and gave us directions for the best way home. We also used her recommendations for the best places to see both in Galway and beyond. The best part of breakfast is the porridge and... More

From a geographic standpoint, the Bayberry House is perfectly situated for exploration of Galway City or neighboring treasures. However, the prime location of the Bayberry House pales in comparison to charm and hospitality of Marie and Tom. Their beautiful and immaculate home immediately set in a feeing of warmth and family. It took our 2 year old about a minute... More

We originally did not plan to visit Galway during our Ireland trip, but we decided to since we were staying in a castle hotel in Connemara. So glad we did this, as our stay at Bayberry was one of the highlights of our trip! The b&b is located near the Salthill promenade and a 5 minute drive to Galway city... More

Marie is an ANGEL! Her home is immaculate, breakfast devine, and room rates so low I could not believe it. Do not leave home without a GPS pre-loaded with Ireland maps and do take her up on the offer to demonstrate how to operate an Irish toilet (not kidding!). Perfect location for exploring County Mayo and The Connemara to the... More
