We were given a vary small room. So small we had no place to put our luggage. The fan in the bathroom did not work. Mould around shower tray. We were late 5 minutes for breakfast and they said it was over. We were on vacation, 5 miuntes was not a big deal really. More

Marie & Tom make the best breakfast in town. The room was comfortable and clean. If you get lost Tom will come & find you. They are located in a nice safe neighborhood. Perfect for walking downtown and taking a short cab ride back. No need to drive once you are there. The tour bus will even pick you up... More

We stayed for a couple of nights and found this to be a favorite. The room was spacious and clean. Marie was wonderful in suggesting places to eat and see. If we get back to Galway, we will definately stay with Marie at Bayberry House. More

My daughter and I stayed in this wonderful b and b for three nights at the end of August. The hospitality and warmth felt while staying was beyond compare. I would recommend wholeheartedly this wonderful venue. More

What a lovely place to spend a couple of days, while exploring Galway. Our hosts were helpful, knowledgeable folks - who could not have been more charming. The breakfasts served were grand - and the room was comfortable and spotless. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment we spent here - and recommend it to anyone who wants to... More

We travelled to Ireland with our teenage son in June 2011 and stayed a second time at Bayberry House for three nights. Once again we enjoyed Marie's hospitality. The B&B is very clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. As I wasn't interested in eating traditional Irish brekky I had porridge with berry compote, baked beans with yummy bread and loved... This is a very nice B & B in Galway with excellent service. The owners Tom and Marie are absolutely wonderful hosts that make you feel as if you are family staying in their home and not paying guests. By the time you leave you will feel as if they are a part of your family. Tom is deligthful to... More

Bayberry House is located in a lovely, quiet cul-de-sac, with fabulously large rooms, fresh bed linen, luxurious showers, all spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, a car park large enough for a double decker bus (also free parking on the road outside) and free wi-fi to Skype the family back home every evening. Within easy walking distance (15 mins) from the... More

Marie and Tom are excellent hosts. They go out of the way to ensure that you enjoy your stay. Marie gave us a ride to town and showed us sights along the route. When we required them, she gave us recommendations on where to eat, what to see, family-friendly stops in Galway. She even offered to dropp off/pick up our... More

I booked and received confirmation from Tom, however, this was not passed on to Marie so when we arrived after a hellish journey there was no one at home, we went off to find something to eat and returned more than an hour later but still no one at home. Telephoning gave us a voicemail option. If you book ensure... More
