We were not impressed with a stay here. Arrived at the Hotel and the receptionist was pleasant enough, however our room had stained carpets and stank of stale cigarette smoke. Although the room was cleaned daily the window and doors were left wide open, we were at ground level leaving all of our belongings free to be taken. We were... more

I booked this hotel in October for 3 nights over New Year's and got a great rate, but when I read the other reviews here a couple of days before we checked in I almost freaked out and booked somewhere else! But it was too late so off we (anxiously) went! As someone who used to work for a well-known... more

overall a poor hotel, with poor food and hygene. The bar staff were friendly , but it couldnt make up for the room, I was given a bus driver room with a tiny bed. The restaurant was dirty and un inviting. I wont be back. more

Stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is nice. Front desk gals are extremely pleasant and friendly. The workers in the Rest/Bar were OK, but did not greet me with a smile/hello. I had room 104. Overall, it was good. Weird shower that I quickly got used to but it was hard not making a water mess accross most of... more

I was in the area with work. I stayed here for 1 night booked it direct over the phone. It will now be our new galway company accommodation. Brilliant rooms, very friendly staff, nice bar and superb value. I didn't get dinner there because the restaurant closes at 9, didn't arrive until 10. However the receptionist directed me to the... more

Stayed in The Kingsvalley Hotel for a Saturday night in July 2007. Decided to stay there seeing as I didn't plan on a hectic night in Galway city centre...the hotel is about a 10 minute drive away the centre!!! Also...got it for £81 for a double room B&B!!! Our room was huge, nicely decorated and had a bath with a... more
