It’s a pub with accommodation above on 3 floors, located on the corner of Eyre Square in the centre of the city and across the road from the railway station and bus terminus. I got a room on the top floor with a great view over the square, which is full of life and a great place to spend time... More

Ideally located on Eyre Sq, we booked 3 rooms, requesting twin configuration which was happily catered for. Very friendly staff greeted us at the bar on arrival and brought us to receiption to check in. Rooms are clean and supplied with tea/coffee making facilities, TV and what you don't get in a lot of places.... an Iron and Ironing Board... More

The rooms are above the first floor bar which has very loud live music late at night. It was impossible to sleep. The manager was not responsive to our complaint and in fact lied to us that the musicians would be playing in a different area after the first night.

I booked this at short notice through Booking.com for my visit to Galway last week. I was marginally aprehensive as the reviews were pretty mixed. What a great place, I'll definately stay here on all future visits to Galway. Slap bang in the centre, just a minutes walk from everywhere. The linen on the beds was spotless and the matress... More

This was my fourth time staying at Garvey's Inn, and it is the only place I would ever stay in Galway. I stayed for two nights on September 24th and 25th, 2013. The location is just awesome. It is near everything (bus station, restaurants, bars). It is a very good price. The breakfast is fantastic. Wonderful staff at all hours... More

More

We spent three nights in this hotel in August 2013. The rooms are spotless, very comfortable beds. If we are going to Galway again, we will stay there. It's right in the center of Galway and only two minutes walk from the bus- and train-stations. The staff in the bar is very nice, friendly and helpful.

We purchased a LivingSocial voucher (2 nights BnB + 1 dinner) and booked a date in May. Unfortunately, I fell ill on the morning of travel and had to cancel that reservation. The staff member was sympathetic and helpful and I was able to re-book with the minimum of fuss. On our arrival, we were greeted warmly. I would really... More
