Galway, Ireland has a lot of B&B's but we recommend this one. Great food and hospitality, with the friendliest Proprietors you'll find. Mike and Breda also provide knowledgeable advice about the city and surrounding area, including interesting sites, restaurants and pubs. We were booked for 3 nights. By morning, I was on the phone booking us into another accommodation. When we made the reservation months in advance, we had requested a quiet room. Our room was facing a busy street. The cars were easy to tune out, but the trucks and people yelling to each other were impossible to sleep through.... more

I stayed at Ardawn House on two separate occasions- with both a large group of students and then a second time with just two others. Both stays were enjoyable and Mike and Breda are wonderful hosts and very accommodating. Great breakfast, genuine service, good conversations, and convenient location. Great place to stay while seeing Galway and the surrounding areas. more
