Spent one night there early May 2012. Host was accommodating and very friendly. House is nice: not the most beautiful but tastefully done. Room was plain and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was small but clean and useful. Water pressure was excellent. Breakfast was very good - the full Irish if you want it. More

We were amazed to find a room right next to the Connaught ground. The greeting was friendly, the room was great, we couldn't ask for much more. Ardawn House is a short walk from Galway centre and is a good location for exploring the local area. Mike and Brenda are great hosts, and the breakfasts were fantastic. The downsides (which may not bother some people) were that the rooms were a bit outdated, the bathrooms are small and though there was tea, coffee and biscuits available downstairs... More
