This BB is a it difficult to find. It is in a cul de sac that turns off of the main road with the same name. The cul de sac street is unmarked. An address sign for houses on this street is only visible from one direction and we were of course driving from the opposite direction. We were pre-booked... more

Lovely home, gracious hosts and a good start to the day with a substantial breakfast. A short walk to Galway city centre (I'd recommend the slightly longer walk along the bay on the Promenade leading to town). Tucked into a Cul de sac, it is a quiet location with ample parking on site or street. Hosts Sara and Jerry are... more

My husband and I stayed at the Ross House for our first night in Ireland. Sara was a very gracious hostess. There is plenty of parking on the road so before we even checked in we parked our car and walked into town. The walk took about 10-15 minutes. Sara suggested when we walked back to town for dinner to... more

Our hosts were extremely nice both on the phone and in person. The rooms were simple, but very clean and comfortable. They even had a mini fridge in the hallway which was very nice! Ross House is just a quick walk from Galway City centre which is very nice considering all the parking is pay and display. They serve a... more

Great B&B, a 15 minute walk to Galway centre and a few minutes to Salthill. OK, the bathroom was very small and as such there was a knack to getting on the loo(!) but the bed was extremely comfortable and the cul de sac very quiet so a great nights sleep was had. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming... more

Ross House was our last B&B of our vacation. The walk to downtown was 15 minutes. The pancakes were delicious. The room was ok. I know the bathrooms in B&B’s are tiny but this was the smallest of them all. We didn’t shower because we saw hairs in the stall. It’s a little dingy. But I will say that the... more

Ross House's strong point is the easy access to downtown Galway, a ten to fifteen minute walk at most. Our room and breakfast were adequate for a one-night stop, but in our opinion it didnt live up to the expectation created by other reviews. more

Our room at Ross House was clean and our hostess very kind. The best thing about our stay at Ross House, though, was the pancakes! Definitely get the pancakes! more

Stayed at Ross House for one night. We had three rooms for our family. Found the place to be in a good location to explore the town. It was about a pleasant 15 minute walk. The hosts, Sara and Gerald, are a delightful and helpful couple. The breakfast was very good. Sara does a great French Toast! The rooms are... more
