No frills but the cheapest place I could find on the night I stayed it was basic enough but did the job!The staff were friendly and accommodating if you are on a budget it will be the best place in Galway

This place is a perfect fit for the price. For a few euros more than a hostel you get a private room that is well appointed for the budget. We had film equipment and did not want to leave it in a dorm or luggage lock up. The equipment being our only concern - we were pleasantly surprised by the... More

We stayed here in our tour trough Ireland for one night. The hotel is 15 minutes walk from city center, but we preferred to take a taxi (around 11 euro for a taxi of 5 persons). The surroundings are not nice, the closest you find a gas station, some companies and the cemetery. It's close to a main road which... More

I recently spent two nights in Galway and stayed in the Travelodge. The rooms were very basic albeit adequate. Tea and coffee making facilities in room. On each morning as I had paid a bed and breakfast rate I went down for breakfast. It states that breakfast is served until 11. The first morning I was down before 10. On... More

Spent one night in Galway and stayed here. Unlike Most travelodges it's within walking distance to city centre. Big room with a double and single bed. Modern decor. Free parking. Very clean. Full bathroom, with bath Would recommend to families or couples for a city break in Galway

The hotel was comfortable and suited our needs. The wifi was slow and unreliable, however, reception staff were extremely, EXTREMELY helpful with assisting me resolve internet problems and assisting me find accommodation for the following evening. All the staff were very friendly and they clearly put customers needs first.

It is just simple basic hotel. Price is just fine but it's not including breakfast though. Only about 10/15 mins walk to city which is great. To be honest I prefer premiser inn hotel than travel lodge.

Excellent staff. Very clean and comfortable. 1 kilometer walk into Galway. After a long day riding across Ireland we received a very warm welcome from a very confident well trained guy who checked us in quickly so we could get cleaned up. After a very welcome shower we went back to reception for a very detailed brief on where to... More

Whilst I realise it's not five star it's not all bad. It's clean comfortable and quiet all one can ask for without the flash trimmings. A little disappointed it was the dearest travelodge we have stayed at in Europe . Bank holiday probably didn't help. Would stay agan

Dear solarisnz, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel and for your kind words. Unfortunately our rates during this peak tourist season in Galway are higher than usual, but they are still among the cheapest to be found anywhere in Galway City. I hope you enjoyed your stay here with us at Travelodge Galway and look forward... More
