Easy to find - very professional friendly staff - really but bad road noise on road side rooms and a noisy all night gym next door - smoking in door area makes it smelly premises - otherwise easy to find

We were looking for a good budget overnight stay close to the city and got all that we were looking for and more. The rooms were very clean and well presented and we had beds for 2 adults and 2 kids at a very competitive rate. Staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful and came across as being very genuine... More

Great value hotel, good location. About a 15 min walk on the flat from Eyre Square. Room was clean, spacious with a double & a single bed. Only quibble I would have is no soap in the bathroom & you have to pay for the wifi. BuT I would stay again.

By the looks of it, I think I got a handicapped room -- didn't exactly need it. But the room served its purpose. Bed was comfortable, pillows were fine. Staff was super-friendly and helpful. Wish there was a way to get change from a machine instead of having to bug the staff for change at three in the morning when... More

Spent two nights at the Travelodge Galway in early August 2014. Staff was friendly and attentive overall. The room was standard and clean. You are about a 10 minute fast paced walk from the city centre. The breakfast was ok--nothing to call home about. Galway is a great place--not sure if I would stay here again--perhaps a B&B next time.

Very helpful and friendly staff, good suggestions as to where to have supper and where not to eat. Manager particularly friendly and interested in our needs. Clean and tidy rooms. Good breakfast. Easy access, convenient and close to city centre

On our recent 2 night stay we found that staff could not have been more accomodating and helpful. Special mention must be made of Phil who went out of his way to ensure that we got a different room to meet my husbands needs. He couldnt have been more kind in helping us. Nothing seemed too much bother. Next time... More

GREAT HOTEL, WONDERFUL BREAKFAST AND STAFF. ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND TIDY. THIS IS OUR THIRD TIME AT THIS HOTEL. Very close to the city centre and a great location for a short Galway City break or the perfect base to explore Connemara and further afield.

Stayed here in august and turns out the place is pretty much a hostel - nothing wrong with that of course, except it cost €120 per room! Maybe just overpriced as we booked late and Galway v busy at this time of year, but the quality is nearer €50 a night

Stayed here during Race Week this year and considering it's the busiest time of the year I found the hotel spotlessly clean, the staff courtesy and helpful at all times. The rooms were very well maintained and clean also. The breakfast we had the next morning was cooked fresh and was very tasty. I would have no hesitation in staying... More
