Galway Travelodge was great value for a friendly very clean and comfortable place to stay for a night or as we did the week, the room was a good size for three ladies with luggage and shopping from the wonderful Galway shops.we will be going back again for any future visits to Galway. The staff were friendly and very welcoming... More

Hotel was clean and good for one night. This is a basic hotel about 10 minutes walk to Galway. Staff at check in were helpful but not so good on check out. WIFI not working. Someone's car alarm went off in the car park and kept us awake all night. no one actioned it to turn it off. When I... More

My wife and I having spent a couple of nights in Mullingar, drove across to Galway and picked this hotel for its location not far from Black Box theatre. The room was clean and the staff gave a friendly welcome and made sure we had a nice stay. We found the hotel quiet but as we had room 1 near... More

Great reception and advice on local restuarants. Surprised to see lounge with free wifi and restuarant in hotel. Usually had to go to nearby service station or pub in UK. Staff friendly and helpful and manager took trouble to ask guests about experience. Would stay there again

Easy to find - very professional friendly staff - really but bad road noise on road side rooms and a noisy all night gym next door - smoking in door area makes it smelly premises - otherwise easy to find

We were looking for a good budget overnight stay close to the city and got all that we were looking for and more. The rooms were very clean and well presented and we had beds for 2 adults and 2 kids at a very competitive rate. Staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful and came across as being very genuine... More

Great value hotel, good location. About a 15 min walk on the flat from Eyre Square. Room was clean, spacious with a double & a single bed. Only quibble I would have is no soap in the bathroom & you have to pay for the wifi. BuT I would stay again.

By the looks of it, I think I got a handicapped room -- didn't exactly need it. But the room served its purpose. Bed was comfortable, pillows were fine. Staff was super-friendly and helpful. Wish there was a way to get change from a machine instead of having to bug the staff for change at three in the morning when... More

Spent two nights at the Travelodge Galway in early August 2014. Staff was friendly and attentive overall. The room was standard and clean. You are about a 10 minute fast paced walk from the city centre. The breakfast was ok--nothing to call home about. Galway is a great place--not sure if I would stay here again--perhaps a B&B next time.
