Not a bad hotel been honest. Not as good as it was in the past. The restaurant was not great. Tried to eat in bar but pushed into restaurant by waitress. Rooms were good. Location not bad from town 15 minutes walk.

Myself and my wife stayed there last weekend and found the hotel great and staff brilliant. It is a child friendly hotel with kids club running nearly every weekend. Good location for getting into Galway city by bus or taxi.

I stayed in the Connacht Hotel for 2 nights (2 adults & 4 kids) the end of February 2014. We stayed in a penthouse suite, very spacious, very clean, and good self catering facilities. The staff in the reception, the bar and the restaurant were friendly, bubbly and extremely helpful. We ate in the bar and the food choice &... More

Great two night break. It's a very nice hotel with good all round standards. Our room was very clean and of a good size, with a nice bathroom. The food was really good and what gives the Connacht an edge is their staff. At breakfast, our waiter (Willie) greated us with a smile,a very friendly good morning and a few friendly words... More

Went here with some friends for a night away and was very disappointed with both the cleanliness of the hotel room and the service in the restaurant. There was hairs in the bath, dust all over the room, the carpets were filthy and the toliet was in a horrendous condition. The reception area was not well handled as there was groups... More

We had the most wonderful stay in Connacht Hotel!! The staff couldn't have been more accommodating for us, especially Sharlene who was extremely lovely and helpful. Our room was very spacious, clean and just what you'd expect from a quality hotel. Breakfast was a wide choice between cereals, fruit, Irish Breakfast, juices, pastries, plenty for all tastes. It's convenient to... More

Stayed here for 2 nights midweek and cannot fault one thing about the hotel. Brilliant staff, spacious clean room, ample parking and excellent food. Based on my stay at this hotel I'd have to recommend it and will definite stay her again. Well done to all involved.

We stayed recently for 1 night here with a u16 hockey group. It worked very well, nothing was a problem before we arrived at the hotel. The staff were happy to make suggestions to help with the organisation. When I arrived it was great the room keys were ready and all 20 players and 4 mothers, 1 coach, 1 driver... More
