August last my husband, 4 children and I decided to spend our hard earned money on a 5 night stay at this hotel. This is our annual holiday. Unfortunately this year I don't feel it was money well spent. We were on a package holiday which included Two dinners, on the first evening we ate in the Italian restaurant, food... More

This hotel excepts hens and stag parties was only told this on leaving that's OK if you want to stay awake all night, but when you book a family room you do not expect to be woken at all hours with loud people knocking on your door and going from room to room making terrible noise on the corridor's. Two... More

Back again at the Connacht last week for a few days before kids went back to school! I cannot recommend this hotel enough, it has such a great atmosphere & the staff are so nice. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which is great & gives the family plenty of space, the boys even brought their Xbox! The kids... More

This hotel is perfect if you have kids, and we did. There is a fantastic pool, and the kids club is extremely well run. It is also in a good location and is easy walking distance to galway centre and handy to drive anywhere locally. In addition, at night, they pretty much let kids run amok. Our one normally wouldn't... More

The entertainment in the hotel was really good, the kids club was good for younger kids, (4yr old really enjoyed it but the 7 & 11yr old didn't), the... More

The furniture in the room had all kinds of stains on them ( I am not going to guess from where) There were cigarette burns also ( this was supposed to be non smoking) curtains were ripped. Terrible wifi,No charm , very noisy not what I was expecting after reading... More

Great value for money. We traveled as a group of 5 and stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. Great facilities and location, really close to city center. Popular with families with small children at this time of year.

Myself, My husband and our 8 year old son stayed in the Connacht Hotel for 4 nights last week. I found the hotel overall excellent. Firstly, we found the staff friendly and very helpful.
