Booked the restaurant for a homecoming party as we got married abroad, we organised our party with Natasha and also dealt alot with Thomas Green one of the managers there, the room was gorgeous and the food was lovely. We stayed in one of the suites and Louise had made it so special with how she had champagne sent to... More

Every member of staff made us feel welcome, the suite had a kitchenette which made our stay with a small baby much easier, the food in the bar was lovely with gluten free options. We will definitely be back.

the only reason we chose it, was because we wanted a separate room for our four year old to sleep it. thus, we chose the apartments; kitchen is not for cooking (no hob, nor utensils); just a microwave to heat food and plates. beds are uncomfortable; they never heard of standards like "heavenly bed", "sweet sleeper bed", etc. bathroom would... We arrived on what was a very busy night and this very large hotel was packed to capacity with sports teams and tourists wall to wall. The staff were cool under pressure and remained friendly and helpful. We ate in house and food quality and service were adequate under the circumstances of a really full house. The room was clean,... The bars and the restaurant are great. Kev was a fantastic host behind the bar. Food from restaurant was very average although service was great. They need a separate menu for restaurant. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. All round a good place just need to lift the food part. It's also a half hour walk to town which... More

Breakfast was superb - thoroughly enjoyed by spanish & german visitors. Bar was very comfortable. Will definitely return to "The Connaught"

We stayed for one night as part of our mini tour of southern Ireland and we were very impressed. This hotel was a very nice surprise as it was very reasonably priced so we weren't expecting anything too special but the rooms were very clean and comfortable, shower was hot and rooms very quiet. Swimming area and gym were very... More

Spent 2 nights here on a business trip from England, had a single occupancy room which was massive. Very clean & tidy, comfortable bed, large bathroom, free wifi, nice restaurant - felt cosy and welcomed even though i was travelling alone - I'll definitely be back
