Really enjoyed my stay here in July. Food was great, entertainment was great and suite was first class although quite a treck from bar area. Overall no complaints. breakfast was mighty as well. Slightly out of the city centre but nothing a short taxi ride didng cure. (around 9 euro)

My family stayed here for few days in July 2014. It wasn't cheap we had an apartment and we had everything we needed. We used the swimming pool where I was met with rude patrons who felt we shouldn't be there as they pay there membership and thought they deserved better. I didn't try gym after this bad experience with... More

Location was too far from the city center to be of much use. It's a huge, convention-style hotel with too many tour groups booked there. Plus, the staff is very abrupt and did not show much knowledge of the property. When I asked where the nearest outdoor jogging path might be, no one could give me an answer. When I... More

Hotel is in a great location but unfortunately, that's the only good thing I have to say about it. If you want food in the bar, be prepared to go and lift your own menu and then ask to be served. It is chaos in the bar, the staff are walking around aimlessly with dishes, not knowing who to deliver... More

We stayed for 2 nights during Galway Arts Festival. This is a very big hotel a good bit outside the city centre. Pros: 1. Ample parking 2. Free WiFi Cons: 1. Room was not cleaned during out two night stay so no delivery of new towels delivered. We told reception at check out and the receptionist told us we could... More

My husband and I stayed in the Connacht Hotel recently and I must say we had a most pleasent surprise. Shay and His staff are continually adding to the quality of the Hotel and making every amenity available to make one's stay more enjoyable. When we were checking in we noticed an advert for a new addition to the Hotel... More

Stayed in The Connacht hotel for three nights and enjoyed our stay. This hotel is absolutely buzzing with activity and has a lot to offer families from its kids club to excellent leisure centre with pool and very good value restaurant. I felt sorry for the staff of the restaurant there just didn't seem enough of them but they coped... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in July 2014 and had a fantastic time, From check in until checking out we loved every minute of our stay. Staff are lovely and so friendly, and there are plenty of staff around. We had dinner in the bar one evening and couldn't fault it..it was lovely. Breakfast was also very good, great... More

This is a large hotel, with a special appeal to families (kids stay free and there are many kids activities.) But despite the size and the multitudes of people, the staff did everything they could to accommodate our needs. They helped me make travel reservations, they even replaced the beds. The rooms are typical hotel decor, but the pool and... More
