I came to Galway with my boyfriend at New Year's and stayed in Salthill for just one night. We decided we would go into Galway City for dinner as a treat but couldn't agree on what kind of food we wanted. After wandering around the city for a good twenty minutes, we finally decided on The Imperial- the outside of... More

We stayed two nights in this hotel. It looks small from outside but it is actually very big. There were more than thirty rooms on the second floor were we stayed. The location is perfect. The room was big but had only one small window overlooking the backyard, so it was a bit dark in the room even though it... More

So convienent and central you couldn't fault it and very reasonable in price . Nothing fancy about this hotel so if its luxury your looking for this isn't for you but its clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful . The shower is so powerful I would go back for that alone . No carpark but... More

We stayed here for a stag weekend, room (237) were ok, but the bathroom was dismal and smelt musty, the bathmat when i lifted it was a home for silverfish... so obviously not been lifted in a while. Bar staff friendly but quite expensive drinks. We did not try the food so i cannot comment. Very close to the heart... More

Stayed here in July last year (2014), Rooms were OK, nothing special. Trip was enjoyable, slightly overpriced for two nights, (Monday-Wednesday) 100Euro per night. Ate in restaurant first night, partner enjoyed his dinner but found mine rather bland, also Restaurant very dark and quiet, lacked that summery Galway vibe!! All in all it was enjoyable! Very good location in Eyre... More

She was talking ill of a previous customer and her manager. Her manager spoke to her in front of us, and it wasn't a friendly talk. Not... More
