We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while we were in Ireland. The room was nice, bigger than we expected in fact. The hotel is right across the street from Eyre Square so it's very central to everything you want to see. Lots of Pubs nearby and there is a walking tour that's free (tip your guide) twice a... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. As we are bikers, we were anxious to keep out motorcycle safe and from the moment we booked in they couldn't have been more accommodating. The hotel is right in the centre of Galway so we were able to leave our bike safe and stroll around the city at our leisure. Our room was... More

The Imperial hotel is located close to the old town of Galway and is very calm because it is not directly located on the Eyre square. The staff at reception desk was efficient and the room was nice and big. There is a car park close to the hotel, the price is 10€/day. There is possibility to eat at the... More

This hotel is located on Eyre Square, right in the heart of Galway City. I stayed here last Sunday after a Stag Weekend where we stayed elsewhere. The hotel itself is fine, grand for my one night stay. The rooms were grand, nothing great, although it was spacious and clean. There's not much to the hotel, the bar is fine,... More

This is the second time I've stayed here...the first time was 2-1/2 years ago, and i loved it then. This time I arrived before 8 a.m. on a Thursday morning, dead dog tired from the overnight from Boston. The very small lobby was full of luggage from 2 tour groups who were checking out. The receptionist informed me that my... More

We booked the hotel through an internet budget website and got a great deal, and felt that we got more than our monies worth out of the Imperial. The staff at the front desk were friendly and accommodating, and also very willing to give us directions for the random requests we had. Our room had three single beds in it,... More

Staff are friendly, well the majority of them were. However they are all on their phones which is very unprofessional. We stayed on second floor, rooms looked nice however floor was dirty and so were glasses in the bedroom. Got no sleep with people above and beside us. Had do not disturb on the door until we woke up that... More
