Oh my God this place was scary. Excellent location and we had high hopes as the rooms were not too bad. The staff were scary. The after hours code did not work and then the agressive night warden?? let us in after we convinced him/reminded him we were paying guests who he had earlier met and chatted to for some... more

I can only recommend this hostel. Right in the centre and very friendly staff. Good hot showers all day. Nice open atmosphere. Will look forward to staying here again. more

Stayed there for the Galway Races in 2005. 6 bed ensuite dorm. Great location and one of the few places who didn't put their prices up for the Races. Normally prices rocket. Room was ok. Do yourself a favour and stay NEVER at that hostel!!! Seriously, the garda should check this place (or any other higher instance). It is anything else but a safe place, especially for girls! I was there only for 1 night, because I couldn't find any other place and it was hell! I had quite the same experience as the girls... more
