I recently took my mother to lunch in Flannery's Hotel in Galway. I'd often driven by it without stopping but had heard that their lunches, both the weekday lunch buffet in the lounge and the Sunday lunch (advance booking required) in the dining room, were attracting praise. I can see why: the food was delicious and good value and the... More

I stayed here from 23rd to 24th August. I had a very nice time at this hotel. I booked a room for one night only. The room was spacious, spotless and warm. The hotel staff (from those on reception to the restaurant waiting staff) were all on the ball...I would definitely revisit this hotel the next time I am in... More

Likes; The room (217) was spacious, with a bath and shower and a big comfortable bed. Good safe for your precious belongs and for the first time I could put my laptop (15"" screen) in it. The wifi connection in this room was good, suitable enough to stream TV and make IP voice calls. Easy access to the city centre... More

Was back again in Flannerys last week-end, 16/17 Aug 2014. This time with the other half. Its always a joy to stay there. Had dinner on the Saturday night, it was excellent. Even though the steak on my surf and turf was well done(I asked to have it medium rare), it isnt really a grumble, just a comment. This place... More

Stayed in this hotel for Nannys 70th birthday. Lovely mid week break, the staff couldn't do enough to help my Mam to thoroughly enjoy her holiday. Grandchildren arriving every day for breakfast really wasn't a problem, they were made feel so welcome that it all contributed to the fun. Thanks Flannerys it's been a blast. "We'll be back" 😎👍☀️🎈
