Really nice B&B, easy to find, clean, cosy and the pancakes were definitely worth moving from my bed for. Host is very nice and welcoming to the house Would stay here again and also will recommend to others

For the fourth time we had been guest in this beautiful B&B close to the town center of Galway with its nice music pubs, shopping area and outdoor activities. Even Chelsea Clinton the daughter of ex US President Clinton was guest here. Great compliments for the warm staying there.

We loved our stay here! It was very comfortable, clean and we slept well; and the food great. With in walking distance of town center with out the hustle and bustle of it. Carmel was very helpful in getting us where we needed to go.

Carmel is a sweetheart of a woman running a basic B&B. The whole place has an appealing faded gentility, much like your grandmother's house. The twin room was clean, bright, airy...and a bit small. Beds were fine and linens above average. The bathroom was itsy bitsy. Wifi was great. Breakfast is average--no fresh produce, but there is canned fruit available.... More

I showed madly later than the 4 p.m. arrival time that the travel agency had printed on my voucher (one factor: Whitestrand Avenue is distinct from the longer Whitestrand Road. I was within sight of the place three times before that registered). Mrs. O'Halloran said she had given up on me, but welcomed the truant. Asked about a internet café... More

The breakfast was delicious and served in a very lovely room. The owners were very nice and helpful and our room was very nice and well equiped and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed very much our stay at Roncalli House.

We unfortunately arrived late, but the owners were very nice and understanding. The room was clean and spacious. We were given great recommendations for dinner in the promenade area. Breakfast was very good. It's about a 10 minute walk to Quay Street. Great location.

Looking for accommodations in Galway during an unplanned visit, we were fortunate enough to come across Roncalli House. It is located within walking distance to town centre, on the corner of a major road. Mrs. O'Halloran was very nice and extended many little courtesies to us. The rooms are older but clean and pleasant, and her price for bed and... More

Every trip to Ireland should include a trip to Galway. And other than my first trip to Galway, Roncalli House is where we stay. Carmel and Ann are wonderful and the home is just a quick walk to the center city where hotel lodgings are very pricey and can be subject to city noise. The breakfast is very good and... More

We stayed in the same room that Chelsea Clinton stayed in! This was by far the most comfortable B&B we stayed in. The bed was so comfy! Carmel was wonderful. And our view was beautiful. We walked down to Quay Street (which was an easy walk from the B&B), and enjoyed the night life. Breakfast was served in a sunny... More
