Went here on a business trip but thanks to the helpful staff it turned out more-so as a leisure trip. Helped me set up a great night out in Galway to entertain clients after having settled into our comfy rooms and a stint in the great bar for a bit of banter. Cant recommend enough. more

I stayed in the Galway Bay Hotel recently with my husband and 2 young kids. We couldn't fault the hotel. Service was excellent. Breakfast buffet was great and evening meals were superb. It was great destination for young kids, the restaurant was v accomodating. The swimming pool was great and the kids club was a great hit. We will definitely... more

I had the pleasure of staying in the Galway Bay Hotel last weekend and it once again lived up to my expectations- Warm reception, cosy room with a perfect view and I even treated myself to a facial and a movie on my bedroom TV. Even though the last few times I've been there its been just my partner and... more

This was are third visit to The Galway Bay Hotel (perfect stop off for travelling). The only thing that's changed in the hotel is less staff, especially in the dinig areas. It's an OK hotel, guests are either american tourists on short one nighters or young families on a short stop off. The lobby is bland & bright, a bit... more

We stayed in the Galway Bay last weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Salthill hasn't realy changed since I holidayed there as a kid with my parents and I was having flashbacks as I drove along the prom! The reception staff were very friendly and our room was ready for us when we arrived. It was very well furnished with... more

Was there on a business trip and arrived late. In my room the hot water tap would not work, the heating would not work and the curtains would not close properly leaving bright lights outside all nights. To be fair I reported it and the staff tried that night tried to get it sorted and the manager gave me a... more

We stayed at the Galway Bay Hotel with two young kids,5 and 2! I found the staff to be excellent and understanding with two curious kids and two exhausted parents! Especially in the restaurant, the menu was excellent and those of us with kids were not bothering any other diners. The location is probably up there with the best in... more

Stayed in Galway Bay hotel for a long weekend with Friends. Rooms were very spacious, fresh and clean. The hotel bars had a great atmosphere, great wine list and the residents bar made our weekend. The food in the bistro was excellent value. The staff are very pleasant and eager to enhance our stay. Pristine location. Definitely worth a visit. more

On arrival we noticed there was a wedding in the hotel and knew that getting a good night’s sleep was not going to happen. Low and behold we were right. We were awake most of the night because of the noise outside our window. Luckily enough there wasn’t too much noise inside the hotel. The next morning when we went... more
