Let me tell you something; Corrib Village is a disgusting rat hole. I do not say this because I had a bad experience, I say this because I HAD A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. This place is filled with bugs, mold, moisture, vomit, and filth. Don't be fooled by the picture here, take a look at MY pictures, and you can see... more

If your looking for 5 Star then go elsewhere.. This facility is great value for money over the Summer months for visitors to Galway. I had an ensuite room & single bed room which was everything I needed for my two night stay. Overall it could have been a bit cleaner but if all your looking for is basic facilities... more

We booked in for race week. Had to pay for 5 nights even though we only wanted to stay 3. Maybe we were really unlucky and got the crappiest apartment cos it was race week and they were fully booked, but I have never stayed anywhere so bad. The smell is disgusting, we never felt clean. The damp was ridiculous... more

Corrib Village is an approximately 15 building complex that should be immediately shut down, and would be if it were in the United States. I am a 24 year old law student traveling with 19 other AMerican law students ranging in age from 22-33. We arrived in Corrib Village, like many other guests, to mold filled apartments, dirty dishes, bugs... more

1. I stayed here for 3 weeks on a study abroad trip and this place at first sight wasn't horrible. This place would be suitable for a 1-2 night stay at most for the poor traveler. To start, the bus which takes you from Corrib Village to the center of Galway City is great… if you can fit on it.... more

we had big issued with the wireless and the electronic key system. the rooms were very basic and small and breakfast was just as simple. we found none of the staff knew what they were doing either and had to make many trips to reception to deal with faulty electronic keys. the plus side is the location to town and... more

Excellent service from Corrib Village and great value for money. Our familiy of fire stayed in at student apartment, each with seperate bedrooms and baths. Not the greatest standard of accommodation, but value for money nevertheless. Best of all was the shuttlebus between the Corrib Village and Eyrie Square - ment the world for our stay. And the service at... more

Stayed in Corrib village lately for a night away with the girls, and the smell from the carpets was horrendous! I know its student accommodation but the place could really do with a re-vamp! If I had been there with my child I would have checked out immediately. more

Corrib Village suits the most basic needs for shelter: it keeps one dry and warm. We were honeymooners on a budget, so while we stayed in B&Bs during part of our two-week trip around Ireland, we saved some Euros by staying in a hostel or two. Our double-bed non-en-suite room was basically a college dorm: somewhat dark and not-at-all romantic,... more

I had been staying in dorm rooms in hostels for a while and needed a break from the crowdedness. For a June weekend in a great city a paid a decent price for a private room. Situated on the edge of Galway it was a medium walk to the city center. The room was clean and comfortable. I had a... more
