I enjoyed my stay here very much. the location is great, 5 minutes from eh downtown area just off the main highway but still very quiet. The exterior grounds are delightful, the interior is warm and nicely furnished, the lounge area is well stocked and comfortable, the dining area includes a garden view and the entire staff were friendly and... I stayed for 1 night, and will not stay again. We arrvied at 10pm, and was asked to settle the bill upon arrival. This was not an issue as we were leaving early the following morning. I was informed that breakfast was served between 8 and 9.30, but as I was leaving at 7am, I asked if we could have... More

Tom can be a nice guy, but he and his wife Angela have no flare for hospitality. The place smells musty and stale even though it's decently decorated. But then the room is very small, the bathroom had an terrible shower (impossible to keep the water in, and we had to use our towels to dry the flooded floor. In... More

Very recently stayed in Corrib haven won't ever stay again. The rooms and corridor reek of cigarette smoke. Even after leaving our clothes smelled of cigarette smoke. The rooms are so dated pillows flat from wear beds uncomfortable. Hardly a hallo or goodbye from proprietors we were never asked once was everything ok. Breakfast very poor. At 90 euro a... More

I should start by saying the owners and staff were very friendly and I couldn’t fault their helpfulness, but the room itself smelt really strongly of cigarettes, the breakfast was decidedly average and just when we needed it there was no hot water. If we’d have been paying budget rates this might have been acceptable but we weren’t. Sorry, couldn’t... More

I could not believe that this place seemed so busy. I guess they don't have much repeat traffic. My room was grotty and I felt that the bathroom was certainly not as clean as it should be. There was what appeared to be an old blood stain on my pillowcase - yuk. The crockery stuck to the table in the... More

75 euros per night is too expensive for what you get. On arrival the room smelt terrible - like a mens sports changing room, we had to open all the windows at once. The furniture both in the room and in public places looked like it had come from a 1970's auction sale.As mentioned by a previous guest the chairs... More

My wife, daughter and I spent 6 nights here. Our host Tom Hilary was very friendly and helpful. Our room was quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed our breakfasts very much. We felt we this was very good value and we liked the location.
