Did you ever walk into a hotel and want to walk right back out again?? Christ , this place is just a hostel that just happens to like charging hotel rates. Do yourselves a favour and only stay here if every hostel, homeless shelter and bus shelter is full. It's scandalous that the owners of this place have the nerve to... More

The location was great, but the room was a little outdated. We had an inside room and it was very warm and the windows opened to a tiny inside courtyard so there was no way to get any air into the room. The breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly.

Spent two nights here & the location is great to the city center. The staff were very friendly & the service in the bar area was great. It did appear to be a haven for hen parties as there were at least three the two nights we were here.

Despite a great central location and friendly staff this hotel is stuck in the 80s. A horrible, dank, dusty hotel. The rooms are disgusting, not clean, chips off all the furniture, the pillow cases werent ironed, stains on the carpets, no mini bar, 3 in a room and only 1 towel. Im embarrassed for the tourists that stay here

Stayed here for three nights, the room was ok for the price and location which also turned out to have its down side, it's situated next to the bus station and poor sound proofing... Other things I disliked are, we had the cleaners to wake us up chatting right outside the door early in the morning... And Beds were not... More

Very happy with this hotel choice. It was just steps from the train station as well as convenient to the main attractions in Galway and the coach station for the tour we took. The front desk was delighted to help with booking tours or other attractions as well as offering advice about what to see and do. Breakfast was great.... More

Just on the corner of Eyre Square so good location. However parking is an issue; we were lucky we got a space just behind the hotel, arriving at 5pm meant we paid for 2hrs then could leave car overnight and feed meter at 8am for another 2hrs. Hotel has arrangement with car park which is a few minutes walk away... More

The hotel overall is basic but clean, brilliant location and good service. Ideally a perfect stay for touring or enjoying galway city. But if going away for more than one night I definitely wouldn't book here at the moment as there is maintenance work going on next door, banging and knocking that is unbearable morning to night. The same won't... More

We booked for one night and asked for a non smoking room, the room was basic but clean, and was stinking of tobacco smoke, we were told that the evening meal ended at 9pm in fact it ended at 8.20pm as we seen people refused food at that time. Breakfast we were told ended at 10.30, everything was being cleared... More

Can't beat the location and service. Hotel staff was very helpful, right down do the universal outlet adapter for my tablet! Food was delicious, and the bar staff extremely helpful and engaging. Just around the corner from the train station, 3 minute walk from the main bus station, and right on Eyre Square which serves a large number, if not... More
