I have stayed at the Victoria hotel during raceweek for a few years now. The hotel is situated in the heart of Galway which is brilliant for nights out and even though it's very central the prices are quite reasonable. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and the rooms spacious. I will keep going back! more

Stayed here for 3nights with a friend and both of us got clothes stolen out of our bags. Then 3 of the 5 missing items amazing turned up 1wk later in their lost property box. This is an awful place. The bedrooms and floor landings reek of bleach, suggesting that they're treating mould. The back bedroom windows open onto on a big bus depot where huge tour busses stay idling until 11 pm, then start up again at 6 am.
