We really enjoyed our stay at the Marian Lodge in Galway. Celine was the perfect host and made us feel most welcome. We ended up changing our plans and stayng another night because we enjoyed our stay so much. The inn has a wonderful view of the water and the rooms are neat and lean. Celine cooks a wonderful Irish... More

Myself and my husband stayed here 15th to 17th July. Celine was most welcoming on arrival and brought us tea and biscuits as we got settled. Celine recommended the golf course to go to for dinner. Our meal was beautiful, with outstanding views and we ended up going back again the following night. Breakfast was delicious, made even more enjoyable... More

Myself and my colleague had a lovely stay. The rooms were homely and comfortable with a lovely view of the ocean. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We were late for breakfast however she happily cooked us a full irish and we also made a mistake regarding the check out time but again no issue was made. I would... More

My husband and I arrived without a booking......no problem as it was a quiet mid week and we were immediately made welcome. The kettle was on and Celine arrived with biscuits to complete the welcome. Breakfast was hearty and consumed by the windows with a view to Galway Bay. The prior evening Celine suggested we try the Golf Club just... More

Celina was a wonderful hostess. We arrived after an all night flight. We were bleary eyed and early and were welcomed to our room, offered tea which we declined and left to rest. When we woke we were told of the bus that would take us to town for two works which was much preferred to driving and parking. A private... More

The Marian Lodge was clean, welcoming and friendly. Celina was the perfect hostess who did a good full irish Breakfast. She was very helpful when we were planning our days touring. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the hot water was plentiful unlike some of the bigger hotels. WiFi was also easy to access and you did not need... More

The guest house is located just outside of Galway along the coast within walking distance of the beaches. The rooms were very spacious and nicely decorated with Rococo furniture. Our breakfast was excellent as well. Our hostess was very helpful with everything from arranging bus tours to getting our laundry done to recommending very good places to eat. We stayed... More

Our arrival perhaps intruded on a family meal as when we arrived at 6.15 the door was opened by a young woman who asked what we wanted. We had booked 2 nights through a visitor centre and indicated we would arrive late afternoon. We were told to wait there, the door closed and we stood wondering if we had come... More

I stayed here with my mum and some friends June this year.. We were put on top floor which was inconvenient as my mother struggles to walk and is a wheelchair user, a good 15 minuet walk from amenities which is a bit far out, terrible breakfast very small and forgot to serve any toast .. Room tidy and great... More

We stayed two nights and Celine went out of her way to get us what we liked for breakfast and our room was bright and sunny. We had beautiful weather while there. She also recommended Kylemore where we took the best photos. Celine is a wealth of information and we would come back just to stay with her. Thank you... More
