My family travelled to Galway to visit us for a Family reunion and stayed in the Aurdilaun hotel and I have to say I was very happy with the way things worked out. It was the ideal place to suit everyone, The hotel didn't let me down and everyone was happy out at the end of it all. Thanks to... more

My Family and I stayed at the ardilaun last may for two nights. Given recent reviews I was a little apprehensive, but I must say we were plesently suprised. On arrival a porter was called to show us to our room (not requested) On the way to the room the porter was very informative of the hotel facilities and local... more

It was a real pleasure working with the hotel to arrange our corporate event. All the staff at the hotel were so accommodating and couldn't do more for us. The hotel itself is a fantastic venue which is perfect location for corporate events. The event was a real success and I would certainly consider using the hotel in the future... more

The hotel deserves its rating in every respect. We arrived to a very warm welcome and a great buzz of activity around the lobby and bar area. Plenty of parking, welcoming ambiance, warm colours in hotel and rooms and overall a very good first impression. The food was fantastic and certainly deserves its ratings (we had something to eat in... more

I have to say we have a great weekend at the Ardilaun. We wanted a quiet weekend away, but were looking to have one evening / night out and about. I have to say, this covered it all!! Hotel is in a lovely quiet location, but is a walking distance from the city center (nice walk in, but got there).... more

Recent reviewers must be very easily pleased! This is a hotel trading on former glory attempting to portray itself as being exclusive. Overall the hotel atmosphere is cold, the staff are unfriendly, particularily the dining room staff. As an example, we went in to the totally empty dining room at approx 1-45pm for Sunday lunch only to be told that... more

My wife and I stayed in the hotel on a three-night bed and breakfast and one night’s dinner basis at a superb price of €270. This was exceptional value especially as it was during the time that the Volvo Ocean Race was in Galway. The hotel is situated in it’s own grounds, with plenty of safe parking just outside the... more

To the staff at the Ardilaun, Both Trish and I could not thank you all enough for making our day a very enjoyable and memorable experience. We had thought long and hard about a suitable venue to host our wedding and had visited numerous hotels. In the end, it had to be the Ardilaun as it had everything we were... more

Stayed for one night to attend a social function. Overall, fantastic staff; really friendly and helpful....nothing was too much trouble. On the good side; relaxed, informal, beautiful setting, super staff and really lovely food. If they were to improve on anything; our room (although non smoking) was in a corridor where clearly there were smoking rooms as the smell was... more
