This is a nice place to stay for a short time if you want to be close to the city center. Rooms were nice but average, no views, but when you have the city to explore why do you need a view? Breakfast was the normal standard contential breakfast.

Stayed here on a few occasions. Main reason is LOCATION. A few minutes walk from the centre of town. Car Parking available (7.00 per night for residents). Rooms are adequate, nice and clean, although no in-room safe. Breakfast was buffet style, a good selection of hot and cold with friendly staff. Overall, this is a good mid-range property and a... Stayed at this hotel for one night. Was a very nice and modern hotel, nice rooms, clean, the staff was polite. Parking was cheap, but the parking space was very small and it was difficult to find a parking spot with a bigger car. Otherwise, great hotel. A few steps from the main street, but nice with the walk.

From the very first time I emailed to organise the occasion till we left the venue on sat evening I have nothing but praise for all the staff at the hotel. It was all organised through emer hall. This Hotel is close to the city centre and in a quite area of the city near the sea. It has an excellent standard of accommodation, dining and above all staff attentiveness. I have seldom found more polite, professional well trained staff in every area of a Hotel. The standard of food was high and service second to none. Overall... More

We had such a good weekend here for my sister's hen party. The rooms were great, the hotel location is excellent but really it is the staff that make this hotel great. They couldn't do enough for us as soon as we walked in the door. Every request we had was met with enthusiasm and a smile, bringing to mind... More

The Harbour has a nice location--not right in the center of things, but close enough to walk to the old center city, Town Hall Theater, etc. A big public parking lot is right next to it, and the out of the way location means just about no street noise. The breakfasts are good, with lots of choices. The room was... More

The Harbour is a decent place to stay in Galway...far enough from the shelter-skelter of the central area yet close enough to stroll over and partake in the rather manic scene. Unfortunately, when its raining, as it is quite often, the stroll isn't that pleasant. Its also close enough to the train station that a brisk walk isn't too bad...with... More

It's a short 10 minutes walk into the main hub of the city where the bars and restaurants are. We were recommended an excellent restaurant by the receptionist just down the street and ducked into a few pubs that she listed down for us. It's a good place to stay for a few nights; we were there over the weekdays.... More
