My husband and I were booked into hotel as part of group of 30 people. Had I been making my own booking going on Tripadvisor reviews (I always check Tripadvisor before booking any accomodation/holiday and have never been disappointed with my choices as a result) I would not have booked this hotel. I actually emailed the manager to enquire if... more

Stayed there with a number of colleagues in August. The hotel is quite nice and centrally located. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the hotel was quite busy and as it was Thursday night, a lot of guests were parting. People next door were very noisy at 2am but when i called the reception, somebody went up to... more

This hotel is a very modern hotel and in easy walking distance to the city center. After several days of driving, we were glad to be able to park and just take in the sights of Galway on foot. Hotel is convenient to get to and the amenities are nice. more

Myself and my partner booked our room at least 3 weeks in advance. When we arrived we were put in a smoking room which smelled terrible. As neither of us are smokers this made us quite uncomfortable.I asked for us to be moved but as the hotel was booked to capacity this wasnt possible.I understand this point but was quite... more

Okay hotel but it is lacking some things that you would expect from a 4 star. The thing that bothered me the most was the lack of an inividual air con unit in the room. I was roasting hot all night and slept so badly. I hate stuffy hotel rooms!! In fact, we had come to Galway for a one... more

eight of us stayed for two nights, the rooms are small with no air conditioning and very stuffy, food is average, and breafast cold, staff are friendly. Found the hotel to be expensive for what you were getting. The room we stayed in would need a good cleaning, ie net curtains dirty, had to move beds together to accommodate my... more

My partner and i stayed here in July...very disappointed. I usually read these reviews and think "you just can't please some people" however...i will take more note next time. This hotel is a bit scruffy and clean-ish, i would say an average 3* hotel but definately not the standard of a 4*......well over priced for the standard and service. more

We check in and the front desk service was outstanding. We were to spend two nights and actually extended our stay an extra night. We walked to the city centre ( 5 min walk ) to the bars and shops. Great time. Were to hungover to leave that next day so we called to extend and it was no problem.... more

This hotel is fine if you just want a clean, relatively comfortable room close to Galway city center, but any luxury is a thin veneer. The furniture is nice and modern, the bathroom a sufficient size, but the shower head was cracked, the towels shabby (to the point of having small holes) and the service lacking. It was ok, but... more
