Rooms are nicely appointed, beds are comfortable and there is a/c which is GREAT if you are like me. With that said, as everyone says, the two different rooms I stayed in were both EXTREMELY small. I thought people were exaggerating but they really weren't. The bathrooms are quite small too, including the shower, and - though my lower level... More

Lovely small hotel in a very lively street in centre of the action in Galway. A few metres from the bars and restaurants of Galway's Quay Street. Very nicely decorated rooms with very comfortable quality beds and bed clothes. Nice continental self service breakfast. They just make the tea and coffee for you. No real reception area or public areas... More

This hotel is not clean. The carpet is probably 20 years old and it looks like it. The coverlet on our bed was filthy and had blood stains. The rooms are unbelievably small. Two people with luggage cannot fit in them. Our toilet wouldn't flush. The outlets didn't work. The breakfast and breakfast room was awful--no where to sit, it... More

Myself and friend stayed here while visiting relatives in galway. The hotel could easily be missed if you didn't have your eyes peeled for a sign on the top of the door. It's very cute, chic and very clean. The two members of staff we came across were very friendly. Initially our room wasn't ready at 3.30 forcing us to... More

Excellent location, right in the heart of Galway city beside all the pubs, restaurants and shops. When we arrived our room was not ready although we didn't arrive untill 4pm so this was a bit of a let down. The room was small but relatively clean. Air conditioning was a god send!! No tea/coffee or drinking water was provided in the... More

Rooms were very small but were still very nice. Location is right in the middle of Galway. The breakfast was simple continental but was very good nonetheless. Night was loud, but that's because of the location.

Stayed here on a Saturday night, its right in the heart of the pubs & clubs so perfect for a night out! Rooms are small but clean & modern. Only complaint was breakfast was too early, 9 to 10am on a Sunday morning, would be better if it was until 11! Will defo stay again

This is a review for No. 27 Nun's Island which is the sister property of No. 7 Cross Street...just so there's no confusion! Stayed here with five lads for a weekend and overall we were well impressed! First of all, the terms 'Wow factor', 'newly refurbished' and 'luxury' which are on the website are definitely played with fast and loose... More

Delighted to have come across this place for our one night stay in Galway: - it's literally in the heart of the action in Galway (with the famous and cosy Neachtain's pub (www.tighneachtain.com) a few steps away and two minutes walk to the Spanish Arch (which is great to see before the city wakes up). - it's a historic 150... I booked a room in this hotel on the recommendation of a friend and wasn't disappointed. It is a lovely, clean and attractively furnished place with lots of character, given that the building is a few hundred years old and right at the centre of the city you'd forgive the small rooms (which as my husband pointed out was nice...
