We stayed for one night during our visit in Galway. We have had excellent hotel experiences in Galway earlier, but since we booked so late this was one of the only ones which had space. Hotel is really, really tiny. Corridors are tiny, stairs are tiny, reception is only a closet and the room including bathroom is really, really tiny.... More

We stayed July 25, 2014 which was a Friday night. We had fun trying to find the hotel. It turned out to be only a door between Busker Brown's Bar and a gift shop. We were able to park in the parking lot around the corner on Bridge St. (called first for directions) and walk 2 minutes to "The Door"... More

This is very centrally located to everything. And it has many very good aspects to it. Very clean & contemporary design. Their sound proofing is excellent - & v necessary in Galway. & its air conditioned. The only real drawback was the size of the room which was very uncomfortably small & missing even a closet to put bags in.... More

Convenience of location with clean and adequate accommodation for one night was exactly what we got in this hotel when visiting Galway during the Arts Festival in July 2014. Right in the heart of the city - just what we wanted.

We stayed for two nights, july 11th and 12th. The website promised much but in reality little was delivered. This is not a boutique hotel. It's not even a hotel , more of an average b&b. The room was miniscule, no cupboard space at all so cases had to be shoved under the tiny double bed which was the width of... More

Although the room was 'cosy', it was nicely furnished and clean. Given the age and history of the building, I had no expectation of grand sized rooms. You could not fault the convenience to downtown Galway and all it's great nightlife. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast was way more than adequate.

I had a fourth floor room, the hotel has no lift. There was no door to the closet, only four bare hangers in there staring back at me. Truly was nowhere to put my suitcase except on the floor half way in and half way out of the closet. The shower was so small that anyone over 200 pounds would... More

This hotel is certainly not the worst I have stayed in. But for the price I would expect a little more. It is dated. Very dated, with peeling paint and stained carpet. It is small. Tiny in fact. So our double room only had space for one bedside table and a bed. Well, actually 2 beds as we didn't have... More

I spent in this hotel only one night, wish it had been longer. The staff were very helpful and very helped me with the planning of moving from Dublin to Galway. The hotel was small but very cozy with a great atmosphere. Everywhere smelled like lilies, simply beautiful. Hotel is right in the center of the old town, all around... More

Located in the heart of the Latin Qurter of Galway, 7 Cross Street offers small but comfortable rooms at reasonable pricing. This "boutique hotel" is somewhat dated and could use a bit of upgrading. The primary disadvantage to this facility is its proximity to a rather loud pub accross the street. The use of the interior shutter in the room... More
