We stayed in apartment 16 on the 4th floor. First off it's quite confusing and annoying not having a check in desk at the apartment, you have to go up the road to the main hotel. Then, the lift to get to the apartment is dodgy. The first thing we noticed as we walked in was the overpowering smell of... More

We had apartment 11 on 4th floor, the apartment wasn't ready till 15.30 following our attempt to check in at 14.00 hrs, the apartment was spacious with full modern fitted kitchen in red, with matching two seater sofas, all impressive apart from the following, the cleaning is only of a mediocre standard, not what you expect when your paying this... We stayed as a group of 4 adults and 4 children at Citypoint apartments in July this year. Firstly I have to point out how great the location is. We travelled by train and just had to walk to the opposite corner of Eyre square to reach the apartments. It couldn't be any handier for shopping, transport, sightseeing and nightlife.... More

Really enjoyed our experience in Galway and staying at the City Point apartments. I loved the fact that each bedroom had it's own bathroom. Very close to the city center which was perfect for an evening out. Also helped that parking was included. A bit annoying check in and out was at the weston, but otherwise had a perfect stay.

The building is less than five years old and yet it gets very hard use. We were in apartment 2 on the third floor which has a large deck shared with another apartment. Pictures had been stolen off the wall, the blinds over the windows were filthy and all was just generally beat up. When we arrived, we phoned reception... More

Stayed on my own for one night. The location is excellent, right in the centre of Galway and near to the Bus Station. The apartments themselves are above TXMaxx, and you check in at the Western Hotel just along the road. I think parking is included but I did not have a car so can’t comment. The apartment was large... More

We arrived at The Western Hotel after making same day reservations online earlier that day. When we arrived the very nice front desk clerk upgraded us to a two bedroom apartment at their sister property, Citypoint Apartments! This place was awesome! Two full bedrooms and baths, a full kitchen and living room. A combo washer/dryer (!) and a deck with... More

My wife and I stayed four nights in a one-bedroom Citypoint Holiday apartment. We had no trouble finding the Western Hotel where we checked in. Staff were friendly and helpful. The apartment (CP8, overlooking the main street and bay) itself is quite modern, spacious, and comfortable. We would stay again, but there were several minor issues, mostly related to lack... More

I am traveling alone, and really did not need an apartment (much less a 2 BR one) while in Galway, save one thing: I needed to do laundry after a week on the go in Ireland. The photos of the Citipoint made it look too good to pass up. The photos on the site are of the 4 apartments in... More

Went there for 3 days and 2 nights for my best friend's 21st birthday. Had apartment 10 which was accessed through the rooftop garden and was spotlessly clean. Apartment was spotless, had everything we needed and allowed us the space to relax after a long day of shopping. Location is ideal as we travelled by train and the food, both... More
