Just returned from a weekend at the Guinness & Oyster Festival and we stayed at the Branches. The B&B is in a private Cul de sac of similar large modern detached houses used as B&B; indeed the location is quiet with no road noise and very private (Not in the middle of a council estate as one previous reviewer stated!).... We stayed here one night, and we enjoyed it. Mike was very friendly, and helped us catch the right bus into the city centre. The B&B is a little far from city centre (you wouldn't walk) but the bus stops literally right outside the entrance and takes you straight in. Our room was clean and comfy, and the bathroom was... The room was very cramped with very little room around the beds, and the shower door had to be open in order to be able to sit on the toilet without banging your knees against it. But clean and simple and good value for money. Good choice of breakfast. No kettle in the room though, which is a pet hate... More

Very friendly, clean acommodation and excellent breakfast. Overall a good B&B located beside Merlin Park Hospital, Bon Secours Hospital and GMIT with good parking. This B&B was excellent value for money.

We spent one evening at this B&B. Mike was very friendly and welcoming. He provided usefull advice on places to go see and where to have supper. We had a double room sownstairs and the children shared a room upstairs. All the rooms were spotless. The double room downstairs might be considered slightly small, but was adequate for the one... We stayed at the Branches for 2 nights in a family room ensuite. The room was clean and comfortable. We slept very well. Mike, the owner, is very kind and prepared a wonderful and tasty breakfast. We felt at home. He pays attention to every detail. There's also a private car park in front of the property.

From the beginning, this place was amazing! The owner was very hospitable and friendly and helped our every need. My friend and I stayed for two nights in a double bed. The room was cute and inviting. The breakfast included was very nice and worth it! The area was out of the center but there was a bus you could... More

I stayed at the Branches in March 2012 for two nights. It is true that the bedroom is really small as well as the bathroom, but I felt that the owners were hospitable and interested. I had the bedroom to the garden so apart from some distant sound of the motorway which you can block out by closing the window,... More

We spent two nights at the Branches. Our room had a double and a single bed in it, which left very little floor space. The double bed sagged so much that I could not sleep on it; I moved to the single. (Our friends had a double in their room that was firm.) The bathroom was tiny - a toilet... More
