My brother and I stayed here for four days. While our night owl ways limited our interactions with Don and Mary, the time we did spend with them was great. They are lovely people who make a great breakfast (I really miss black pudding!) and won't steer you wrong on pubs and restaurants either!

This b&b is perfect as always! I love this place, the rooms are big and spacious, and have in-room bathroom with window, which is unusual and really comfortable. The owner is nice and kind, he also cook a great Irish breakfast every morning. Totally perfect, I will come back next time I'm in Galway (which will be in April).

Finding a dog friendly B&B is not the easiest feat but this place hits the spot. The room was really comfortable and everything was within minutes. If you need a place that is close to the Latin Quarter and enjoy a friendly service, this is the place for you. We will definitely stay there again.

Stayed here for the first time April 15. Dan and Mary the friendliest people around. Four of us were doing the Connemara Marathon with an 8am bus departure to the race start.. Because it was raining Dan drove us to the bus. He also allowed us park our car on his driveway for the whole day and return to the... More

We stayed here four nights during a conference at the University. I choose the b&b for the position, because it's just 5 minutes away from the main campus where we had to go, but it was also a good choice to go to the city centre, that is only 10 minutes by walk! The room was little but clean and... More

My only regret is that we didn't have more time to visit with Don. He had very entertaining stories. The room was great, the beds comfortable, the breakfast was ready when we were (didn't have to rush to get up early just to have breakfast - made it feel like a vacation). The location is perfect - easy walk into... More

This was our second time to stay at Deacys, Don and Mary are so welcoming, really nice genuine people. Bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the breaksfast was lovely. Deacys is literally a five minute walk to city center too, excellent location! We look forward to our next visit already. Laura & Niall Galway races 2014

We arrived at Deacy's after spending a night at a Hostel, so it's fair to say our expectations, and our standards, weren't particularly high. We were greeted by Don, who seemed nice enough - telling us how to get into town and asking when we'd like breakfast. Good start. However, the room we were given was unbelievably dirty. There were... We're 3 friends and have been at Deacy's B&B for 2 nights, the room was excellent for 3 students like us, very good prices, the location is perfect, 5-10 min walk to the city center and all irish pub. The service was great, the room was fully equipped (TV, Wi-fi, Tea & coffee, very comfortable beds, towels). Don is very... More
