Ended up staying here on a Saturday night because our first three options in Galway were already filled up. Galway is a great town!
First off, the location is what you are paying for here. It is right in the thick of things with the main pedestrian area right across the bridge. Lots of pubs and restaurants in the area. It also comes with free wireless. Rooms were good sized.
Now on to some of the negatives. Although there is no parking, they will point you to a parking lot a block away. This is free at night, but otherwise you would have to pay for it.
Our room did not have a TV, but I think that is because they just painted everything in the place and they didn't put it back yet. But still, one would think they would have checked that first before they put customers in there or at least told you about it ahead of time.
