Great Place to stay. Near everything. Great location for exploring Salthill, Galway, Connemara and only an hour and a half from the Cliffs of Moher. We loved the place. Everyone was so welcoming and there was lots of information to hand. A lovely sitting room for guests with internet access. The Breakfast was unreal. Fresh towels everyday and really comfy... more

The B&B was a nice place to stay while in Galway. It was only a short drive in to the city center, but parking is quite expensive while downtown. The Irish breakfast experienced here was the worst of our four different B&B's while in Ireland, although other cereal and yogurt choices provided helped make up for the eggs and sausages.... more

Ashton House is located near the Salthill boardwalk, a few minutes walk from the B&B. The city centre of Galway is not very far away and the owners are members of a family owning another B&B much closer to the city centre. This was very convenient to us since we were allowed to park our car on the premises of... more
