Beautiful views right on the bay and a lovely 10-15 walk into town along the coast. Pat was friendly and helpful and although the rooms were not large they were clean, quiet and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was yummy and we felt bad we could not eat more!! We would definitely stay at High Tide again!

We have just spent four nights at High Tide and will certainly be going there again. A family run business who make you feel completely at home. Close to the city centre, well priced and with an Irish breakfast that will set you up for the day - highly recommended.

Our room was very small. There was no where for us to put our suitcases and we were stepping over each other just to move around. The bathroom sink is in the room and the toilet and shower are in a cupboard. The WiFi is terrible and we had to go to the guest living room to even get a... More

Nice, clean, close to center, good price, nice hospitality= excellent We stayed for 2 nights after we were addressed by the local tourist information. We find a worm welcome with friendly hospitality by Pat. The breakfast is fine; the room was large enough for couple +1. Parking available and walking distance from all major Galway's attractions made our stay enjoyable... More

The room was clean and adequate. What made this stop the best was the hostess. She was friendly, talkative and fun. Breakfast wasn't quite as good as other places, but Pat made up for it with her bubbly personality. She made you feel at home and her information was helpful about the surrounding area. It is an easy walk into... More

My son and I were travelling through Ireland for his 18th birthday and high school graduation gift. We came to Galway because his paternal ancestors hail from counties Galway and Roscommon. And boy were we happy we found this B&B. The Tourist Information office in Cork called ahead by two days to reserve the room. They really chose a gem... More

Me and my friends stayed in High Tide for one night in June to go to a concert. The concert was within walking distance which made the location ideal for us to stay in. Omly a 5min taxi drive from the B&B to the pubs and clubs. Rooms were clean and service was good. Very friendly family run business.

We would like to recommend this B&B. We made the reservation by phone and we got the confirmation by e-mail. The house is 10 to 15 minutes walking to Galway town centre. The house is relatively quiet. Our room was small but comfortable with a beautiful view to the sea. The only negative point was that the bathroom was very,... More

Pat made us feel very welcome. The house is nicely decorated, and has numerous paintings by local artists, and Pat was delighted to talk to us about them. The room was comfortable, and overlooked Galway Bay. Breakfast was good.

Stayed thee for a couple of nights. Close to city centre. Rooms were nice except that I wouldn't favor the sink in the room instead of the bathroom. Breakfast was good.
