I selected this hotel specifically for a spa-break which turned out to be an excellent choice! Brilliant spa facility with very pleasant personal staff with unique attention to detail. The spa area was so relaxing and very well designed with a pre- massage 'quiet room' facility and a well appointed post- resting room. A well stocked fully staffed gym is... More

Stayed at the Rochestown Lodge for business purposes recently. The hotel looks ok from the outside but it's a different story inside. I stay in Dun Laoghaire on business about 4 times a year and only booked in here as the other hotels in the area were booked up. The receptionist at front desk was friendly but on entering the... Lovely hotel, very clean and great value for money. Rooms spacious and well appointed - beds very comfortable. Staff very helpful and efficient. We had breakfast in our room which was warm and exactly what was ordered - perfect. We only used the hotel for sleeping as we were attending a rugby match at the Aviva - No 7 bus... More

That was our first disappointment, assumed the hotel was in Dun Laoghaire, but Dun Laoghaire is actually more than 2 miles away, no other reviews mentioned this. There is nothing else in the near vicinity and you would need to travel by car or bus to get there. We booked this hotel as a weekend break by the sea where... More

I have stayed here in March 2011 and again in March 2012. Overnight stay on business. I got excellent directions from Reception staff from exiting Junction 15 Cherrywood on M50. Found the hotel with no problems (about 5mins drive from exit 15). We just needed a room for the night in this area. Usual hotel room with double and single... More

I stayed here with my family very recently and I have to say we were very dissapointed. Firstly on checkin not very friendly at all too bussy doing other things then told to ensure we book our table for evening meal or would not get a table but unfortunatley we did. It was a disastour food on the floor which... More

Might be the people of Dun Laoghaire have great fun using the gym facilities in the basement of Rochestown Lodge - but overnight guests surely could find the place rather depressing. Rooms are rather o.k. despite the awful curtains that don't let proper daylight in - but mating pigeons on your windowsill at 4 am are not really fostering a... More
