My husband and I traveled with another couple to Ireland. We stayed 2 nights at Windsor Lodge when we first arrived on June 25th. The location is awesome. You take the Patton Flyer bus directly from the airport (8 Euro per person) and it drops you off a block away from the B&B. The DART station is at the top... more

This B&B was a great place to start our trip to Ireland. It was easy to get to with public transportation and just a skip up the road from the Dublin Bay waterfront. Breakfast was plentiful, and the beds in our very clean room were the best of our stay -- very comfortable! more

lovely B & B in Dunlaoghaire seaside town, within 20mins Dublin city centre. Beautiful building with lovely rooms, clean, spacious and comfortable-very tastefully decorated, in keeping with style of building. Our room was comfortably large for a family of five with a private bathroom and a beautiful view over Dublin bay. Mary was very helpful with any queries and the... more

We stayed here for the first 2 nights of our recent trip to Ireland. We booked this location solely based on the wonderful reviews we had read on Trip Advisor. However, upon arrival, we were disappointed. We e-mailed back and forth with Mary to confirm our room and our stay. Mary was gracious enough to allow us to check in... more

We had the most memorable stay at the Windsor Lodge. From the first time I contacted Mrs. O'Farrell by telephone, I just had a really good feeling about the place. (Found Windsor Lodge here on Trip Advisor, Thanks). Mrs. O'Farrell told me everything I needed to know from how to catch the Patton Flyer bus from the Dublin Airport to... more

What a wonderful B&B! We stayed one night but I wish that we would have had more time there. Mary is a delight! She is the definition of Irish Hospitality: warm, friendly and helpful. If you have questions about Dun Laoghaire or Dublin make sure to ask her. She is full of local information. Our room was very clean, comfortable... more

my family had a relaxing stay in dun loaghaire and would recommend Windsor Lodge especially for families. we had a lovely sea view from our room and the beach is just at the bottom of the road. The pattern flyer coach which takes you to and from the airport is really handy and cheaper than a cab. Also it drops... more

We found ourselves wanting to get out of Dublin and were fortunate to be directed to Windsor Lodge by one of the other Rick-Steves-endorsed B&B's. The hosts were wonderful - Mary made several calls for us about activities and sights in the area. The location was very convenient - we walked everywhere, taking the DART for longer excursions. When we... more

My teenage daughter and I stayed Fri-Sat (Jun 20-21, 2008) - our first time to Ireland and first time in a B&B. Windsor Lodge remained the standard by which other B&B's were to be compared to on our week in Ireland. Mary O'Farrell's advice to use the Patton Flyer bus to get from Dublin Airport to Windsor Lodge was perfect.... more

We had beautiful rooms with a view of the water. Everything was clean and the O'Farrells were wonderful hosts, serving breakfast each morning, giving us driving directions and helping us with all our questions. more
