Host was friendly and chatty. Room was large with reasonable lighting and cleaned daily. Bed was comfortable. Nice a quiet location. Parking was off road but very tight when the place was full. Sink was small but just about adequate. Breakfast was good - full Irish breakfast, choice of cereals and brown bread. Worth noting that they only accept cash... More

A 25 minute DART (like a tram) ride gets you to a quiet community south of Dublin. Peaceful with all the amenities of restaurants, shops, and friendly people. Neighborhood pubs were delightful. Parking available on site, garden view from our room, and very helpful efficient hosts. While the room was compact the hearts and help from our hosts was expansive.... More

Wonderful little bed and breakfast located off the main road and in close proximity to local cafes, shops and transport to Dublin. We were greeted by Mary, the owner, who was very helpful and ensured that we had everything we needed including detailed maps and advice on some of the best places to visit. We had a choice of rooms... More

Mary and Tony are lovely people, very relaxing atmosphere, 4 mins walk from Glasthule bus stop. Take bus 703 from bus stand 17 at airport terminal 1.(cost 16E return about 30-40 mins journey). Bus goes only ONCE an hour at five past the hour. Dart Station (Sandycove) 2 mins walk. Trains to city every 15 mins 3.5E return. Recommend Teddys... More

My husband and I stayed here for three nights. What a great find! Mary was so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable….everything I expect in a hotel. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel was very close to the seaside and we enjoyed evening walks and felt very safe doing so. Mary helped us book a Wild... More

The Windsor Lodge was very charming and close to the DART station. It was incredibly quiet at night and our room had a great view. Windsor lodge is also very close to the town of Dalkey and the James Joyce museum, which are great to check out. Our room was very clean and we enjoyed our stay. Mary went above... More

We stayed at Windsor Lodge our first few nights of our recent trip to Ireland, to be close to Dublin but not in the city. Luckily for us, it was a great choice. Mary and Tony couldn't have been more welcoming and full of helpful advice. The Dun Laoghaire/Sandycove area is a beautiful and laid back alternative to staying in... More

This was a great start to our Irish holiday. The house is lovely, surrounded by flowers, and the location is great a few steps away from the seafront. Very close to central Dun Laoghaire, the DART the Joyce Tower and the 40 Foot. Once of the reasons we chose WIndsor Lodge was because we were able to park in front.... More

Stayed with family including two young kids. This was one of the best B&B's we've used and in a very convenient location. Clean, welcoming, use of lounge with sky Tv, free wi-if and a good quality breakfast. Would happily recommend to anyone.

My husband and I spent the first two nights of our two week honeymoon at the Windsor Lodge and couldn't have been happier! Tony greeted us at the door when we arrived (via AirCoach from the airport - so easy!) and showed us to our bright, airy room on the first landing (on the left). It had everything we needed... More
