Excellent hotel in a great location with friendly and helpful staff. We had a spacious room with a view of the pier which was lovely to relax in as there were chairs and a table in the bay window area. We would definitely stay again!

My wife and I spent four nights here in June and were glad that we did. Our 2nd floor room faced the pier, Howth and south to the storied Martello Tower (and museum) where James Joyce spent several months. Our Kingston second floor, front room had three bay windows, pun intended, framing this exceptional harbor view. The sunrise through the... More

Entering this hotel it looked stunning. The receptionist was miserable and did not give you any information, of times for dinning or when we would need to vacate the room. Upon entering the room it was dull with a view of a brick wall. It was a very basic room but was clean. The hotel was very noisy in the... More

Dear Guest Thank you for your recent review which I read with disappointment. On the night you stayed the hotel was fully booked due to a sailing event happening locally. We allocated 2 standard double rooms to you and your fellow guests which is what had been reserved. As this is a historically listed building room sizes can vary but... More

Stayed for one night with a friend. Attending a school reunion. Lovely room overlooking sea/pier. Very comfortable beds. Tea/coffee making facilities. Excellent shower. Very attentive staff. Meal was very good, would have preferred more choice with mains, however as this was a pre-organised event I expect the choices were limited. All in all a very enjoyable stay at the Kingston.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel and the location was perfect, our room overlooked the sea and pier. The dart runs in front of the hotel which is very convenient for getting around and it's a short walk to the shops and restaurants. We walked the coast road all the way to Killiney which was lovely. The staff were... More

We booked to attend the Arcade Fire gig at Marlay park. The hotel was great but the exemplar of service was the lady on reception Sinead. She researched transport and moved us to a sea view when one became available . Made our weekend. Thankyou Sinead!!!

Attending a wedding reception here. Arrived to a fantastic Pimms and Heineken garden reception with stylish finger food - not your typical cocktail sausages. Dinner was a simple and fast and quality food. Rooms were a but old but far from shabby - clean and comfy and only 75euros for double. Didn't have a view of the sea which was... More

Stayed for one night during our tour of Ireland, we last stayed here about 5 years ago, there has been one or two changes since then and that Irish hospitality keeps shining on through. We stayed in room 416 reached by the elevator, such a beautiful room with 4 large bay windows over looking the bay. The bar is now... More
