This place was such a disappointment. The place was clean, but the rooms are extremely small and the walls are thin-so you can hear everything. When sitting on the toilet, you are no more than 6 -8 feet from the bed. Breakfast was fair, at best. When we arrived, the gal was friendly but knew nothing about the area and... More

We started our annual Motorbike trip of Europe here...we will not make that mistake next year. We arrived 15 mins after the designated check in time and we were met by a grumpy and unwelcoming lady who shouted at us. Never in our experience of travelling through the UK, Ireland and Europe have we ever experienced this, in fact, we... More

We stayed here before ferry sailing the next day, found the staff brusque and lacking the irish welcome we are used to, cross cultural communication I think. Breakfast mediocre, the cooked breakfast had been cooked well in advance judging by the speed we got it and the lack of crispness of the hash brown! It is a great location though... More

Location is very good, within walking distance of Dart station/Dun Laoghaire town centre. Room was clean but very basic, it could do with a table / chair. The bed could only be accessed from one side. There is parking at the back, but please note that it's extremely tight - if you are not careful you can damage your car... More

Very good staff, very welcoming and hard working, the owners are lucky to have such a good team working for them, ok its not a 5 star but its comfortable and offers a decent breakfast, for the money it was great. Rooms were cleaned every day and towels changed, free wi fi and a tv in the bedroom, Location very... More

First of all had difficulty finding the lodge on Mulgrave Street despite Google Maps' best efforts. Parking at the rear was difficult as shown in attached photos. Reception was friendly even with the language barrier. The room was small and unlike the website photos. The showerhead was difficult to manage but worked eventually. It was a quiet spot and handy... I booked accommodation 2months ago in this bed and breakfast secured. By my credit card no. One week before they ring to cancel my booking saying the people in the room want to stay on .they did not offer alternative accommodation .it is a festival weekend . This is a disgraceful shabby way to treat visitors Mary

Location: Excellent Rooms: Good standard, however needed a chair & table. Rooms needed a mirror too. Cleanliness: Good Service: East European very rude, nasty staff, snooping around guests rooms. Sintja, the girl serving breakfast & the cleaner is very bad to guests with children. Overall: Good but has a East European feel to the place.

Convenient basic accommodation close to ferry and Dart. Still in process of being updated so some areas lacking in cleanliness. Heating, hot water and bedding OK. Breakfast adequate. However our last night of three was seriously disrupted by the late admission of unbooked guests. The television blared all night on high volume and our breakfast time was upset by the... More
