St. Ann's is a basic bed & breakfast in Dun Laoghaire, a 10 minute walk from two DART train stations or a bus route. You can be in Dublin in 30 minutes by train, or an hour by bus. I paid 45 euros for my en-suite room - much less than you would pay for comparable accommodation in Dublin. A full cooked Irish breakfast was provided each morning. Several restaurants, pubs and shops are within easy walking distance. The bed was comfortable, but the shower was the Asian variety without a shower curtain, making the bathroom wet every time it was used. The other drawback is that the walls are quite thin, and so conversations could be heard from other rooms in the house. Credit cards are accepted. more
