My stay was for just one night. I was warmly welcomed, and the hostess Pauline was kind and helpful. Room was spacious, interesting house, and I had a most satisfying Irish breakfast. Buses were nearby, and the station was near enough to walk to.

As soon as we walked through the doors, we felt confortuble and welcomed. We were offered a nice big room for me and a friend. It had all the things we needed in there. Ronan ( i think was his name) was full of information about where to eat/drink and how to get there which was most helpfull as we... More

We started our two weeks in Ireland by staying with the Teehan family at Ferry House. We stayed based on Rick Steves's recommendation. We too the aircoach from Dublin Airport to Dun Laoghaire and walked a couple of blocks back to the Ferry House. We were early in the morning, but they let us into our rooms anyway. The 3... More

This was our second two-night stay and we enjoyed it even more than our first. Pauline, Eamon and Rohan are fantastic, friendly hosts and made us incredibly welcome. We were a party of nine (four adults, three young kids and two babies) and we used their travel cots and highchairs, which were new(ish), clean and of high quality. The cots... More

Damon and Pauline are superbly friendly and helpful hosts. The old house (1860) has been refitted nicely with modern baths and electricity without harming the original charm. Ferry House sits about 400 yards from the train station and right on the edge of both the town of Dun Laoghrie and the seashore (200 yards). A great place to stay and... More

We spent 5 nights here and we loved it! Pauline's breakfast is superb! Great hostess. We had endless conversation even though our English is rather basic haha. Rooms were comfortable but a bit chilly. We'd definitely recommend this place!

Biding adieu to the bustling crowd of Dublin-town, we boarded DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit), the suburban electric train service operating between Howth and Greystones, for the 20 minute ride into Dun Laoghaire (pronounced Dun Leary). We would be spending three nights at Pauline and EamonTeehan's Ferry House B and B and welcomed the east coast seaside town's fresh cooling... More
