This is a charming hotel/Inn located above a Pub that has much historical significance. It is family owned and it feels like you are in your neighborhood bar at home with friends and family. I stayed at the Ferryman twice in the month of May, once with my husband in a double room facing the Liffey River and a week... More

Was attending the Convention centre, and, travelling alone, this hotel could not have been better. A short stroll over the river from the bus stop for the airport bus, and about £45/night for B&B is pretty awesome value. The room was small but perfectly adequate, and to get a cooked breakfast was very pleasing as well. Overall, this isn't an... More

When my family and I first stepped off the bus from the airport, we spotted The Ferryman easily across the Samuel Beckett Bridge...a red-bricked wonder amongst the glass, metal, and concrete surfaces of its neighbors. The outside and inside of the pub were charming and the people in the pub we spoke with were very pleasant and helpful. Our room... More

As the title goes, you get what you pay for. The room was tiny and because we where at the front of the hotel we had the noise from the street. As we are a young couple this didnt bother us to much because we had a late night anyway but the room was clean and there was enough hot... More

Stayed 3 nights at the Ferryman, great hotel very friendly staff and owners. Great location walking distance to Dublin centre. 5 of us shared 2 rooms very clean and decent size stayed in rooms at the front of hotel over the bar thought it would be very noisy, but not a problem. View of the conference centre at night was... More

We only stayed for a pint while walking round the dockland area. The music was good, the service was excellent and of course, the Guinness exceptional. There were a few others in eating and the food looked good. We didn't eat, we just watched the world go by.

We stayed here on a girls trip last weekend. The three of us had single rooms and these were located at the back of the premises. They were spotlessly clean and tidy and of a good size all things considered. The shower had plenty of hot water and again was spotless. We worried that we may have been kept awake... More

Great river location, cool pub and super easy to walk to most of the Dublin attractions. I would go back. It just had a great atmosphere. We took the train to another part of Ireland and it was also within walking distance. They don't have food at the pub in the hotel however or they didn't at the time we... More

The Ferryman Hotel was located right on the river and over a great pub. We were able to walk to all our other planned sites from that location. The staff were very friendly and the neighborhood crowd watching football that evening were really fun. Would go back for sure!

We liked the fact that this 18th century building looked so stubbornly defiant between the many shiny modern office and hotel buildings and bridges. We also liked the view from our room at the bridge, the water and the other side of the Liffy. The conference centre across the other side lights up spectacularly at night. The room was small,...
