My trip to Ireland has been excellent and I had great stays in every place but was not at all impressed by the Ferryman. It was loud, old and expensive. For the price I paid I had stayed at a premium hotel the weekend before for 3 nights and paid less than I did for this hotel for 2 nights.... More

The breakfast staff were very pleasant and efficient throughout our stay, although maybe a change to the cooked stuff would help, same food every morning, This is a 5 story building over a pub and function room, on a busy road, if you want to go to bed early, ask for a top floor room at the back. On the... More

My husband and I stayed here March 2014 for 1 night, we were going to a show at the theatre. We had a nice room overlooking the river and it was basic but clean. The breakfast was nice but a bit more variety would have been nice. Staff in the bar were quite friendly. We enjoyed our short stay here.

Especially if you need attend events at the Conference on the other side of the river, The ferryman it's an ideal base. The room was really great with two beautiful windows over the river, the breakfast was good and the rate was very reasonable. And mostly important there's a real irish pub just downstairs, how great is to have a... More

Just had a lovely weekend at the ferryman. The corridors and breakfast room is gorgeously decorated and the rooms are more basic, but all you need for sleeping! The pub downstairs is lovely to sit in and have a pint of Guinness, staff are all friendly and helpful and the full English breakfast was amazing! The ferryman is also in... More

I spent 1 night in room 9 (single): the room is small, but the quality of the sleeping was perfect: silent with a good mattress. Also the room and the bathroom were perfectly clean, also the sheets of the bed and the towels were immaculate. The breakfast was very good served by kind personnel. The style of the hotel is... Just a very short visit to Dublin but this hotel was in the perfect spot by the river, great to walk into town and plenty of restaurants. Really great atmosphere, the bar is wonderful and very nice rooms with full breakfast in the morning. I would really recommend it.

Stayed 2 nights in a single room. O2 arena 10 mins walking distance, that was the reason I booked this hotel. From outside lovely small hotel, nicely decorated corridors, room let's say average not bad. Fine for me as I did not plan to stay during days only to sleep, bit uncomfortable shower, bathroom not that nice but in overall... More

Great value for money hotel. The staff make you feel very welcome. Double Room on 2nd floor overlooking the river was clean and cosy. But single room my dad had overlooked the kitchen vents at the back of the hotel was not as nice. Breakfast was a treat and in a lovely room over looking the river aswell. The bar... More

Friendly, efficient service plus a fab location made this place ideal for me. Bang on the river, 2 minutes from the excellent airport bus 747, 10 from the DART. Tasty breakfast with a river view. Good water pressure and a peaceful night. What more can you ask, for the price? A couple of shonky fittings in the room (& slightly... More
