A bit expensive for what it provides, this hotel works just for the location that offers. The beds are comfy and everything is clean and neat, the breakfast's ok. The staff is polite and answers if you ask.

Unfortunate that can't give negative ratings on here!! The place was disgusting. Initial impressions were that it looked like a boarding house for refugees. We had 2 bedrooms booked as there were 4 of us staying. The first room was big enough. No tea making facilities. A shower in the corner of the room with glass door so no privacy... More

Let me start by saying my husband and I are very flexible, easy-going travelers but this place was HORRIBLE. We are the type to stay in a nicer, well-reviewed hostel or a cheap Air B&B. However, Avondale House's accommodations and apathetic staff are beyond flexible forgiveness. The outlets in our room did not work, which after a day of traveling... More

Great location, very central to most Dublin highlights but room/hotel was incredibly average: - Too pricey at 280 euros for only two nights - Small - Very basic amenities Cannot comment on breakfast but this was included. Would be worth it if you could get it cheaper.

First room was too small and broken windows. I asked the staff, she looked unhappy and unwelcome. Moved to another room, were tiny beds. The bedding sheets with a holes. The shower terrible. Plenty of hairs in hole. The breakfast is ok and basic.

If im honest the place could do with a touch up here and there - this isnt the ritz - but it is very cheap and right in the centre of Dublin. After being a little concerned by the slightly flakey paint, cheap doors, light fittings and carpet - i then realised my room was SPOTLESSLY clean - the sheets... More

Stayed in this b&b at the beginning of November 2015. Stayed in a double room which cost £33 for 2 adults per night including breakfast (prices compared online in advance). Staff on reception and at breakfast were friendly. Breakfast was ok. Bus stop just outside for transport to and from the airport. Walking distance to the city sights. Its definitely... More

This "B and B" is really more like a seedy hotel with breakfast. For three people we had a tiny room with 2 beds, a wardrobe with 2 hangers, and 2 bath "towels". There was no place to put or hang anything, including our used towels which we threw over the shower door. Some of the staff was downright unhelpful,... More

Really disappointing visit. I've read all the reviews on here and agreed with every single one. The shared bathroom is absolutely disgusting. My friends room had a shower drain FULL of hair, so that wasn't working. The receptionists were never very friendly. My friends room had a toilet so we used theirs. But the inevitable 'number 2' moments meant we... More
